What is a PCU?

Yeah idk how they intend to get their point across if they’re blinding all their readers

Like many above me have said, I think it’s best to form your own opinion and make up your own mind about the PCU, rather than listen to the rumours and such that you might come across. I have found in my own personal experience that the people who tell you to stay away from them and warn you about them, tend to stir and cause more drama than they claim the PCU themselves do. I myself have had 0 issues with the PCU or any member from such a community, but I have come across quite a many dramatic issues in regards to those telling me to stay away - but that’s my own personal take.

I wouldn’t tarnish everyone with the same brush, as others have so rightly said, there’s bad eggs and good eggs in and outside of the PCU, but I suggest meeting them yourself and getting involved if you wish to form your own opinion. I know for a fact they put in a lot of effort for their guilds, concepts and events. A large community who dedicate even a larger amount of time to provide roleplay.

At this point most in the PCU would prefer to just be left alone, for anyone with an issue to simply contact an officer instead of starting some strange forum game (challenge impossible) and for those with grand diplomatic solutions to simmer down.

If the worst thing that happens to you on the internet on a regular basis is that notorious forum villain tehya honks your nose then you’re truly lucky in life.

I think that would be great, imo.

This isn’t so great. A number of officers in the PCU have been pointed out, several times, as toxic and uncooperative.

Let us do some math. One guy does /y “I hate pcu.” If only 5% of the 300 go after him that means 15 people. So of course it looks like a “forum raid” from the outside when the reality is that 95% just don’t care.
I think the problem is once again that there is the though of it being like one guild, which again is simply not true.

Which also leads to why this is just unrealistic. A because many simply don’t care about forum drama and B because that again would imply for it to be more than a community. It is a group of guilds and all have their own voice, which of course can also mean different opinions.

then they wouldn’t have a blog about a roleplaying server in wow but a blog about those very Issues and how they are in real life instead of forum drama.

Any names?

I was an officer in PCU for a year and never once was my name mentioned in the blogs or forum rants by any of these rabid spiteful perroy obsessed lunatics.

Clearly I was a failure as an officer.

I was doing it wrong.

A couple come to my mind - such as the main name behind the community.

I count 20 people associated in the PCU in this thread alone (which so far is relatively harmless) - discounting the potential alts who have their identity hidden.

Got any solid screenshots or hardline evidence?

Really? I only spot like, 6 or 7 at most.

Ah yes, because anyone who has their alts identities hidden is a possible PCU associate.

That’s sort of the point I was making, fret not, even if it had a tone harsher than most it’s just taking advantage of these tags, using them as a battering ram for some deluded vendetta it wants to pursue. I’m not adverse to any wing, but there’s definitely extremes and COAD seems to be an extremely of idiocy.

I just feel it’s their way to manipulate and scam people easily, “oh don’t talk to these guys cuz they’re x-phobes”

Regardless of the current day political climate, I think it’s safe to say we both agree that it’s a rouse to create chaos

I do, yes. Him being uncooperative multiple times, ignoring calls for distress, cheating and ignoring the rules of the campaign he himself did set when he was losing (of this one, I do not have screens), condoning bullying and harassment on the forums, and players with zero issues against the PCU claiming that he did, in fact, harm their attempts to create guilds.

Other than that, officers and members of the community who can make any accusation with impunity - especially if it serves someone’s agenda, with people accusing others of the worst kind of things.

Then you’re really bad at math.

Whatever you say buddy.

Got the same result tbh, guess anyone disagreeing with him is PCU (even thou they aren’t)
