No you don’t. You can do none of that and still be fine, like I was when I first played lock at the start of TBC (pretty much 1.12). Sure if you play better you’ll perform better, but it’s hardly required to play so perfectly - just stick pet on passive and drain away

Shaman.
A mix of melee and ranged, v.early weapon enhants so if you run out of mana you still whack them good. Healing and totems to take agro, reduce dmg taken and even attack for you. Mix it with Leatherworking and you have nice gear and easy leveling.
You’ll die a lot or will need to play extremely careful. If you call that an easy class then every class can be easy. Just use one ability, there, easy.
I think when people talk about easy classes it means easy but still competitive.
Deffo warrior, such a breeze to level.
You’re making it out to be worse than it is. You can put your pet on defensive/passive like a noob and all abilities on auto cast, keep a soul bag for the shards, you have a ress (soulstone) if you die and you just life tap for mana and life drain for hp. If you’re low on both, sit and eat boi.
I agree it has a high skill cap tho with all the things to be mionitoring but it really ain’t difficult

Warrior is pretty easy imo. There is only one problem - stance dancing, but if you had a good mouse with special x-tra keyz, you could change stances fast and without any difficulties.
Hunter is a trap, easy to level sure… but among harder ones in pvp and do dps in lvl cap.
Hunter, Mage or Warlock.
I just used shift-1,2 and 3 for that and it was fine. Just be smart about what you put on your regular hotbar (the one that flips between stances) and keep spells like heroic strike that are available in all stances on your other hotbars (that don’t flip when you change stance).
I had all 3 of the 30 min cooldowns bound to “G”, hamstring was F in one stance was pummel, and in another was shield bash, had mocking blow on the same key as taunt (as again, different stances).
This and easy to level doesn’t go together my friend.
Hunter is generally the easiest to level with.
Meh, shaman is ok but certainly not the easiest lol. I’d go with Warlock, also gets a cheap mount so perfect for a newbie.
Whats so difficult about warriors? I levelled one during wotlk and don’t reallly remember anything being too hardcore about it.
Even when factoring that mobs have 10% more HP, do 10% more dmg and you do 10% less dmg, still doesnt make it look all that difficult to me. I remember it being quite a breeze except for lvl 5-15 maybe.
Fun > Easy, but if her mind’s made up, go BM Hunter.
Hunter, Warlock, and I would also say Mage.
Enhancement Shaman, Hunter BM, Affliction Warlock and Frost Mage. Those are the easy classes with easy builds.

Use macros for pets like, ( for imp )
/Cast Shadow Bolt
/Cast Firebolt
If you get rank 2 or voidwalker then
Shift+Right-click on spell “Shadow Bolt”
This will save you time in manually commanding the pet and put pet on defence.
Everything is easy, but Warrior is the one that’s hard to level.
