We share this. Also, my laptop has screen and keyboard side by side. I can largely touch type but sometimes need to locate shift. With my pc there’s a huge gap, and weird sitting angle… Cause I sit in bed.

I’ve never been a very fast typer. Not shocked to get 64 WPM at all.
At least it means I’ve got to apply brevity to the dialogue and emotes I use; no waiting five minutes to receive a four-emote length essay-emote from me, I promise you.

I think the most cursed type of RPer is a 60wpm typer who still thinks he has to lay down 5 paragraph emotes

I mean the main convinience from typing fast is that you can type & chat during casts x)

Or if your me, global cd & make a wall of text

I just end up typing faster than everyone else during RP with general chit-chat and get the anxiety after of am I spamming too much before they respond.

75 WPM, and I’m honestly surprised most of you got significantly more than that. I’ve always considered myself a fast typer. Looks like I’m actually on the slower end of the scale. Didn’t expect that.

Got 107 (with 91% accuracy).

I can type fast enough if I know in advance what to type, but since I rarely do, so the result is pretty inaccurate in most situations.

Did anyone try the advanced typing test? What was your results?
Got 95 on my first time with 88% accuracy. :slightly_frowning_face:

34 using ‘traditional typing’ (fingers on specific keys etc)
75 using my own method.

The 34 doesn’t surprise me, I suspect if I did the test on a typical keyboard I’d be faster on both but I use a split one which my brain is still not quite adapted to.

Yeah, on a normal keyboard traditional was 47 and my own method was 88.

Still not great but workable.

I clocked 116 words per minute at 94% accuracy

yeah … u might call that weird … but my technique is clearly masterful

I found the most mistakes came when the page changed and you’re caught writing the old word while it shows a new set of them. That felt super confusing and thew me off a few times

I got 67 the first time, and was all “lemme move my keyboard into the optimum position” aaaaaand…67 again.

No mistakes at least (touch typing)! But yeah…I can come up with a quick retort!..If you can just wait a minute or two…uh…

EDIT: 74! Yeah! I blame goblins having only four fingers to be honest.

97 with 94%.

tbh the way these textboxes work really ticks me off, they should just display all the text to be typed at once instead of having this ever-scrolling thing that just gets annoying
