What is going on with Customer Support?

I am one of the people with their characters in Limbo. I have seen multiple forum posts popping up and ingame the chat is full of people with the same issue. The only responses from a CS i see is a link to a Tech Support page that does not help. After people acknowledge that this did nothing, there is no further dialog from the CS.

There is no way to have an ongoing conversation with anyone to explain the situation and some people have not been able to play their main for over 24h.

This is in no way acceptable and I am very curious what is going on. Is there not enough CS members? Are they new? Any information would be welcome, other then the bot-replies we are getting. It is the Weekend and people can finally play. Fix the issue asap, restart the server, manually kick the characters in limbo, anything!

Is this referring to the “a character with that name…” issue?

Because a Blizzardian did infact react about a hour ago and merged the threads, providing said support article and suggesting that if players aren’t helped with it to create a support ticket.

Players who make a ticket after not being able to self help will get their tickets prioritised on this issue.

Could you tell me then how to make a correct ticket? The system is designed to make u go in circles. I managed to make a ticket under Not Listed Here but not sure if it will get the same attention?

TicketNumber is EU83271038

This whole ordeal is just frustrating.

how does one create a ticket for this issue, the only way i found out how was by saying my character is stuck, use the auto stuck page and then create a ticked when it failed. Its not the issue that’s a problem but the inability to report and request help leads you into countless articles and the only way to create a ticket with ease is billing issues, wonder why that’s the case…

Nonsense, my ticket is 24 hours old at this point without response.

And this is what I mean with no further contact. My ticket has now been open for 3h, my character unplayable for 15+.

“Make a ticket”
“Follow this article”

This. Does. Not. Work.

It is the weekend, people want to play their characters. Hell, even if it is a weekday, people are paying.

Please fix it, fix the communication, do something.

They don’t, and never have, replied to tickets in just 3hrs. The fastest ticket response I ever had was a little over 1 day.

The greenpost above stated these tickets get prioritized which is obviously not true, and just like any blue response, they do not return for further discussion.

You have a ticket open, “average wait time 1 day 23 hours”

so it will get resolved sometime during monday/tuesday when im back at work.

Might as well just not check in til wednesday - hear someone said something about scheduled server maintenance or something…

You do realize that green posts are not blue posts, right? They don’t work for Blizz and are not paid to answer and help here.

This guy has miraculously been able to determine the speed of millions of Blizzard responses to players worldwide. Amazing.

Suspecting understaffed, large volume of tickets, and copy paste responses to get through them in the fastest time possible - unfortunately that means tickets that need genuine help don’t get it.

They took back the servers from wotlk aswell?
