What is it with Tank players in TWW Dungeons pulling the half/entire room without thinking?

tell your dps to interrupt the important casts and focus important targets. but here it ends they dont know what they are doing. most tanks do their homework

I don’t mind big pulls, I can interrupt and cc as much as I can, it is a matter how coordinated the other dps are.

  • interrupt the fear in the lava mine dungeon
  • dont pull too much in this lava mine dungeon before last boss because of “bleed” debuff
  • kill the totems in the bee dungeon because of nasty fire stackable debuff

otherwise i havent seen that much abilities that are dangerous in hc dungeons. :dracthyr_shrug:

HC dungeons are easy and repetitive so why not just speed run it?

Tanks pulls big it is an issue, tank pulls small it is an issue.

Decide already.

It is more like literally every single cast goes off. I have to heal my butt off in heroics. Allthough now i am ~570, so there’s less issue. On the other hand; feared, stunned, stunned, feared = wipe.

Personally I would say 2 packs at a time.

Yes, because this time I will have most of the time a regular group to play with.

Imagine having fun for a week without people crying…

M+ is dead and irrelevant content. I don’t think people will cry because few even do it.

I sometimes die because of tanks pulling the whole damn dungeon and the healer can’t heal because he or she have to keep the tank alive But also the dps
You can’t always kick tank because then you get kicked yourself if it fails

Most tanks are “Gogogo” adepts, their goal in WoW is “to play as little WoW as possible” - hence the mongo clearing.

And even the tanks that doesn’t have this mentality end up doing the same for fear of being called “Noob” or worse.

It’s a snowball really.

Ye ofc and wow is also dead huh? Hahahahq…

It depends on the pull, some big pulls have so many mechanics that cause pure chaos making it impossible to control and some are fine because there are either less mechanics or the mechanics that are there aren’t going to wipe the group.

as a FF14 veteran and current player here… you do always - wall to wall - pulls…

that means you take agro and burn everything aoe down to the point the dungeon dont allow the party to move forwards until mobs are dead, and if the pull allows to move into the room with the boss, so u do.

itlvl scaling just do ensure that the tank has to rotate their defensive cds in order to survive, that bein u use one and then another one… no science at all behind.

fellow AD colleague… you should be spending less time at the inn, it’s clouding your head already obviously

This reminds me the one time I literarly tanked more than half of the dungeon run as a Hunter with my pet, after the fact that our already second tank kicked the bucket twice and left the group right after he pulled the first boss for the third time. (He was apparently trying to get us to third wipe in the row and failed with that one  ). I belive there was only one more death after that…those were the times, lol.

Sadly I haven’t recorded it. Wish I could do that again.

I leveled classes which only can tank. I knew they wanted fast run. I care them.
BUT
I alwasy check healer be close me. If healer much away from me, I stopped.
Or if my tank had 77-79 come easy pain more. If healers cant keep me heal.
I’ll careful pull, or less. But I move slow wihout stop.

Guessed I dont go tank in M+. Since I dont care m+ since Legion

Tbh I chill in heroics whether someone pulls pack by pack or boss to boss. One is more scenic and laidback and the other, well pumping 900k hps is nice too

Of course, it is obvious.

Just hit 80 and did my first dungeons as tank.
It’s definitely… a moment of awakening to not just blindly pull everything…
Things hurt again, but honestly, with a good party it’s fun.

Just said “new to this place, fresh 80” and slowly started pulling.
Healer said two packs at once is doable, so we tried and smooth sailing the whole dungeon. It’s honestly refreshing to do dungeons again with DPS that interrupt, focus and a healer that talks to set the speed.

Can I have more of these players please?
