6 chests from the weekly quests and got…
char 1 2x rigns(already had rings) ,
char 2 2 x belt(already hadb elt with socket),
char 3 2x feet (already had feet,. minor upgrade)
??? why no trinket weapon? or any other of the 12 slots?

This TW event i have had so many duplicate’s on my chars same thing happened the last time we had this event. Its like there is no rng and we are just stuck in a loot loop.

I thought it was just my typical luck, I literally got the same belt I alrdy had this week and last week I got the same ring I alrdy had…

It’s normal RNG. On my main I had a trinket, which I was really happy about. The other toon I’ve run through this week had a ring. Not great and not terrible either.
from what 50 items you get the same rings and low items on different chara. we all know weapons and trinkets have like a 0.5% drop chance and rings, cloak, wrists and belt have the highest.
thats how game “fake” rng works. same in diablo, overwatch, fifa, cod, and more

Ditto. It’s flipping awful. Oh look, your character is using a 2h weapon. It would be a shame if your reward for completing the weekly is an offhand, because you naturally have a high Ilvl main hand lying around when you’re kitted to wield 2 handers.
Or how about a ring… Yes it’s a defo upgrade however last tw we gave you the exact same ring with a slightly lower Ilvl that would still be an upgrade to your other ring you have equipped. But because we’ve rewarded you with the same you can’t equip both.
Lets reward you with that other piece of armour you need. LOLS here’s the same you got last week.
It’s still fun to do TW though. I just wish we had bad luck protection or even a vault type system instead of the random/not random rng.
Got void from beyond trinket from the chest (sarkareth loot)…on an alt with that same trinket…come on
it must be broken!!

Geared 5 alt healers today in tw, almost everyone got juicy pieces like Rashok’s heart, weapons or jewellry. Now I wonder what the 2nd quest (four 0+) has in store for me.
Because RNG. 
That is the metric the algorithm has you down for. Gets you emotional but yet subbed. Mad but not quitting. Frustrated, but still grinding.

Best you can do is to not engage with any content with asinine loot systems.
I’ve not done it yet this week but two weeks running I got a ring.

This happened to me, in BFA after 5 TW runs and opening the weekly chest.
BE Hunter (main): 3x Feet versatility/mastery.
This character, I’m posting: azerite gear for the same slot (at least, I could use them in different specs).
I used to play 10 characters.
Now I play: 25 characters.
The problems seem to have vanished 
My BE Hunter got a nice slotted belt from her TW chest.
My 2 BE Paladins got trinkets for their 4 Mithic 0 runs and it can be used on all 3 specs 
Next are my 2 Priests. Let’s see what they get from their 4 Mithic 0 runs.

They really need to add a calculator to determine what items you already of of a certain quality. Seems dumb to shaft some people, whilst someone else gets every item they want based on chance. Like everyones worked just as hard for their chests
My BE Priest got a ILV 428 ring from her 4 Mithic 0 runs, to replace the same ring she had. At least, it has +218 Avoidance.
