Hey,
I want to farm all mogs/quests/mounts from each covenant, i am currently NF and I was wondering when switching is anything lost?
I know that Mogs stays, but what about things like Anima, Campaign quests, soulshapes, achievements?

The only thing I lose is whatever quests I’m on that are covenant specific. So I have to pick them up again.
Using other covenants appearances requires you to have a character(s) at max renown.
I swap between three covenants daily. I need to be one to do any actual content in game and then the other two I’m working on achievements and collections.
I look like a Venthyr even though I spend my time being Kyrian, Necro and NF, I look more like a Death Knight than a Paladin tbh but I love this mog and the Dark Ranger customisation.
Anima isn’t “lost” but it stays with the previous covenant, so go to the flightmaster first and buy the 1000 anima items if you want tot take some to the new covenant. Your table missions will also be lost (especially noteworthy for those you started / are running) and your covenant specific “followers” (from the table missions) will also stay with the covenant.
Soulshapes, sanctum upgrades etc also stay as they are and are still there when you return to the old covenant, achivements stay too.
Oh yes missions! Good catch.
I don’t do those anymore because it’s pointless when I’m swapping all the time.
you lose the mission table progress…so if u sent missions at kyrian covenant and switch to fae, and then after 2 week switch back to kyrian, the mission table quests u sent wont be complete, but rather all your companions will be idle
Unless I’m mistaken, the first time you switch to a particular covenant, you have 0 renown, but you can buy an item for anima that raise that to 60. Then you just get 20 renown really quickly by doing whatever you were going to do.
Then any covenant you have with 80 renown, you can switch to that without losing anything relevant to character progression.
Is that correct ?
The 80 renown doesn’t have to be on that character. Initially I had my Necro/NF/Kyrian max renown on alts.
I ended up doing it all on my main as I found it was too tedious having to do anima farming on multiple characters.
If you don’t have any other char at 80 renown then you will face the original restrictions:-
Leaving one Covenant to join another is very easy, as long as the new Covenant is one that you have never joined before or you have character above Renown 80 . If you don’t have one character at Renown 80, trying to rejoin a Covenant you’ve left involves two consecutive weekly quests to prove that you plan to re-dedicate yourself to that Covenant.
So you keep everything, but it stays with the former covenant. Meaning, your campaign won’t be reset, but you will have to do your new covenant’s campaign.
Remember to buy the renown boost from the guy next to the flight NPC in Oribos BEFORE doing the new campaign.
Anima that was in your covenant reservoir stays in that covenant’s reservoir. You can trade anima around between covenants using an item from the aforementioned NPC.
If you’re interested in farming all the appearances, I suggest having 3-4 characters to do it, just to farm the anima and trade it to the main. Because you’ll need A LOT of anima. Some appearances can cost like 30k anima. You can trade anima between characters using the aforementioned NPC.
Thanks everyone.
I have about 195k anima farmed as NF I guess ill have to take it with me when switching.
There is actually a whole guide dedicated to this if you wanted to glance over it
