The season is almost upon us, friends! Great Father Winter will soon descend yet again upon Azeroth, bringing a whole host of gifts and cheer to the downtrodden and war fatigued folk of our humble world.

Areo’s list includes a Path of Glory paving the road from Auberdine to Orgrimmar, Night Elf style.
The false, Orcish Greatfather is first on his list. Manata is second, because orcs don’t deserve presents and I can see her typing.

Manata arrived to Azeroth when she was still a kid and though the Winter Veil tradition was initially a foreign, strange concept to her, of course she was bribed full into it with presents like any greedy child.
Now she thinks Greatfather Winter just a foolish fabrication for the kids and generally scoffs at it. Maybe he didn’t bring her the Gorehowl Minimanata wanted so badly that one year. 
If she absolutely had to write something, she’d wish for a mak’gora with Greatfather Winter

Jokes aside, Foulgrip is a Death Knight of the Ebon Blade so he would most likely just see this tradition as something for the living. It’s after all to remind them of the warmth of a hearth. As long as he has a goal and a master whom he sees as worthy of his service? He needs no gifts.
The legend of Grumpus, however? Well… That’s another story.

Having just discovered Winter’s Veil last year Alryette has, with all things, gone completely entirely too far into it. This year she has EVERYTHING, including a little Greatfather Winter hat to wear instead of her usual chapeau.
This year Alry’s wishing for:
- A new inking set
- A warm fur cloak
- Some books on Chronomantic Theorems
- Some whetstones
- A little riding blanket for Epoch
