I reckon the following 2 are perfect Class - Race combo pick.

honestly, racials are only important for the top 1% player and world firsts.
just play whatever race you like or whatever racial you want.

Blood mallet says “Hoomans” for almost every possible spec. That or, troll.

Blood elf mage is an iconic combination. Go for it.

Troll mage is not only super fun but you’ll get extra dmg with berserking.

Undead Mage looks cool.
Personally prefer Blood Elf Mage, just because of looks and lore.

For everything wise (PVE + PVP)
Draenei paladin, priest, hunter, monk, mage, warrior, death knight, shaman.
Somewhen in the future: draenei demon hunter, warlock, rogue, druid.
I do not know anything better.
