What is the best Class - Race Combo in this situation?

I’ve got a DH & wanna give a proper try for these 2 Classes : Mage & Rogue.

I reckon the following 2 are perfect Race - Class combo pick.

  1. Zandalari Troll Rogue

  2. Undead Mage

Please let me know your thoughts ?

I would much appreciate it.

Why not make both :slight_smile:
I’ve got both and they’re a fun race/class combo to play.
I wouldn’t say either combo is better than the other, sorry.

Are you asking what to go with or what our favorite Mage & Rogue races are?

Assuming the latter:
I think Undead is a strong Mage pick. Great animations too.
But I really think elf Mages are great lore wise too. Blood elf over Nightborne though.
I don’t like the other Horde races for casters.

For rogue, I dislike Z Troll. Regular troll would fit so much better.
Again, undead and elf (belf prio) still fit better though, they’re agile and light footed.

Z Troll is more like Hunter or Shaman, imo.

It all depends on your playstyle to be fair. You might think on paper you like x class but when playing it you prefer y class

Undead mages are fun to play as.

But why not try out both and see which play style you like more?

If we are gonna limit it down to just those 2 races, I’d pick zanda troll if youre mostly a pve-er or undead for mostly pvp gameplay. (though I’m still convinced there are better picks for both pve and pvp, I’m just playing vulp for the memes)

No I’m saying overall (PVE + PVP) best number 1 everything wise - pick Race-Class Combo

For Rogue best are Zandalari Troll (racial Regeneratin’) Undead (obviously will of forsaken racial) & Blood Elf (racials)

Lore wise all 3 also fit into Rogue perfectly.

But since I’ve DH (Blood Elf)

Thinking of rolling out Mage & Rogue.

I reckon best is to roll out Undead Mage & Zandalari Troll Rogue ;)))

I tried out Zandalari Troll Paladin it’s cool bubble + Regeneratin’ (But Retribution Paladin is not S Tier DPS wise everything wise (PVE + PVP)

S Tier everything wise (PVE + PVP) DPS are : DH, Mage & Rogue that’s it ;)))
