Hi guys,
I’m back after more than one year without playing and I’m finding 2v2 as/with healer a little bit boring.
I would like to try to play it as double DPS.
The most obvious choices would be Rog or mage, but maybe something is changed, this is why I’m asking for your opinion

Rog/mage is still the best, second rog/mm. But double dps is rare these days since healers are invincible.

Not easy to play double DPS so…
you could try ret, but WoG heals for about 10k
Like someone has already said, Rogue/Mage. Basically any class with high burst and a good sub rogue can work. Rogue/WW is also very good.
You need cheese dmg spec and on top of that a lot of tools to control the game / dodge dmg and or off healing and immunity preferably.
Pretty rare like said above, healer are basically dps these days, healer trinket down to 1m30 Nerf double dps comp to as it reduce your numbers of go till you can kill and there is way too much stuff usable in stun and immunity that allow people to keep trinket forever or olya bad and can’t be punished.

to answer the question urself, think of what can survive the longest vs healer + dps or what can kill them the fastest (or both)

If you dont care too much about meta then you could play something like sub+mm, rm, demo+sp if its for funzies.
You can also play something with an Owl, like Owl Sub
I logged in with my resto druid just to try something, and yes…every time I have found double DPS it was an easy win, also after one year without playing.
Sad to say, but the double DPS mission is failed before starting.
I think we have to wait for the next expansion to hope in Rog/mage again ( for me the funniest 2v2 comp ever )
