Homogenization was just people whining because many classes shared similar abilities, like snares and mobility. It was a dumb complaint tbh.

Completely agree. And Khadgar right there is what was the final nail in the coffin for mage for me (used to be my main); not only does the game take away 2/3 of my abilities, IT SHOWCASES SOME OTHER MAGE STILL USING ALL 3 AND AT ONCE TO BOOT!

There was a button bloat yes and CD stacking, but people didnt want Classes to be mutilated they way they did. The heavy handed pruning left us a withering twig. People who did the pruning were complete fooking idiots.
Now Shadowlands tries to finally after 6 fooking years to fix that fook up. Wether they succeed or not is entirely another matter which I have fooking zero hopes for now.
Alpha and Beta will show us a lot. And if they continue ignoring the fooking feedback like they did 6 years straight there is snowballâs chance in hell to get it right by themselves. I dont trust or believe in them anymore.

Well, they didnât understand that classwide spells are not the only option. There are some. Still I donât see to which extent blockade mastery is going to improve warrior DPS gameplay, when they could have just add spells and moving talents to baseline. Or even revive old spells that used to be core for that particular spec.
Instead, they are in a pre cata design class phylosophy, which imo is the wrong path to choose.
You mean the awesome thing Turalyon does (and Yrel in one cut-scene) where he activates Avenging Wrath, soars through the air Force Leap-style and lands in a Consecration? Because man do I want that one.
I agree and current core design is based on Legion Class Design. What they should look is what were the best things in Cata, MoP, WoD and Legion: fuse them and iterate something new. And return fooking mana/resource management through gear and abilities JesusâŠ
