I’ve been playing wow for ten years now but took a long break recently due to being a little burnt out. I have always been a healer and was wondering if anyone knew really what the fastest paced healer is? I know the GCD changes kinda prevent any class from being too speedy but I’d like to play the fastest healer.
There is no rotation while playing healer. Pace keep changing as per healing requirement. It also depend on how other healers doing in raid.
I understand that the situation can be quite influencial of the speed but I just meant more like how to me I used to find holy paladin would be quite fast when you used your CDs back in cataclysm as you’d spam your moves due to proccs
I myself play only MW, but assuming stats work somehow the same in case of haste versus the rest in the sense that haste increases how fast you can burn through your mana and the rest of the stats make each healskill more efficient (allthough I don’t know if its true for HoTs) and the speedyness beeing determined by haste which reduces GCD they are all almost the same. Since you can play all the healers GCD capped because all of them have damage and utility skills which don’t cost mana and can be used as fillers if healing isn’t necessary.
Mistweaver is a no-go for you as haste is worst stat for them, you probably want to roll a Rdruid as they do use pretty well all stats and specially haste. My raiding gear is like 6% haste while my dungeon gear is around 8% if im not mistaken, that probably wont be nice for you but hey if you enjoy the playstyle it gets 1-2 dungeons to get used to it.
Not for rdruuds, for us haste is useless but for druuds is pretty strong stat since it increases their HoT ticks and they are all about HoT’s unlike MW that rely on direct heals + HoTs.
I suggest you give resto shaman a go. You have your healing spells and different ways to interact with them, instant and powerful cds, kick (will interrupt your cast), dispel but one of the only healers with disc having a purge so an extra thing to do on gcd, instant flame shock that can give u instant lava burst so You can sneak some off dps while healing, Wolf form to get a speed boost and you can also cast while moving every 2 min or 1 min if talent (recommended for pve). The utility of the class and the amount of cd will make your role super dynamic and enjoyable to play.
Druid feral affinity to push dmg is nice but you don’t have half the utility of shaman. Also, you preshot hots then Dps from what I have seen instead of being a reactive task.
Does that answer the question of « fast paced »? I would interpret it like that but if you meant fast paced like haste stacking class then idk.
Idk all the healers but I do enjoy shaman a lot so that’s a subjective opinion to take with a grain of salt.
