Where exactly were you betrayed? Everybody knows that MoP come after Cata, just like Wrath happens after TBC, just like Naxx follows AQ.
Also calling Legion “a bad joke” is just hilarious. Many people, me included, consider it the best expansion
He’s just one of many who had expectations not in line with Blizz’s policy
- We did not expect TBC in the first place
- We did not expect no choice to advance our characters to TBC
- We did not expcect the clones to be deleted - ever … more so when we did not actively choose.
- We did expect Era realms for TBC
- OK so for Wrath at least!
- we sure never expected Cata to happen without Era realms - Cata is for many of us NOT Classic any more.
Those who are ok with uncertainty, play on private servers.
I imagine the main reason people pay a monthly fee is the guarantee their time investment is secured. Not anymore, apparently.
Currently, I am hesitant to play:
- Anniversary, because I don’t know if it would proceed to WotLK. What about Cata? I don’t want my characters stuck in TBC and and I don’t want them in Cata either.
- MoP, because according to the recent survey, Blizzard are unsure what to do after it ends.
- SoD, because Aggrend assured us servers and characters would stay for another couple of months,… maybe years, … lol?!
At this rate, Blizzard really should show us a roadmap for the anniversary thay will set everything straight: not just “are we getting wotlk” because we all know that we are. But answer the real question: what happens after the Ruby Sanctum raid.
I want to just go through the expansions normally (cataclysm, mop, wod, etc.). It’s not the matter of what expansion I like or don’t. It’s about having the option to play it (videogame preservation issue, and all that). I want to be able to replay WoW, just like any other video game series (which is why Blizzard should keep rereleasing fresh progression realms, until some kind of permanent solution has been found).
Just tell us, who is those anniversary servers for: for people like me, or for those who’d just rinse and repeat with “vanilla → wotlk” cycle.
or Anniversary
My prediction is that when TBC ends . 1 they anounced that a classic+ is incoming. 2 they still havent done it or will not make a classic+ and therefor we will go on to WotLk.
3 They find a new coool thing they wana tast and therefor make a new seasonel server whit a special theame.
