What is the gold limit for free accounts?

Does anyone know what the gold limit per character is for free accounts is these days? It used to be 10 gold, but Bauldheed here is now above 20.

I think it’s 1000 gold.

That’s quite the increase. At least I’ll not have to worry about my daughter using all her gold on taking random flight paths now.

For me that is like being concerned about the expiration date of our sun. I will never have that problem! I do not farm for gold and spend my gold on heirloom upgrades (WOW’s most favourite gold sink) and transmogs.

Restrictions

With the Starter Edition you can:

  • Create new characters
    • World of Warcraft Classic characters are not accessible on Starter Edition accounts
  • Level any character up to 20
  • Earn up to 1000 gold per character
  • Chat in /say and /party channels
    • Characters that are ten or more levels higher than you will not see your /say messages
  • Whisper your friends ← Only friends added by character name. Blizzard and RealID friends will not show up and chat won’t appear from them.

Thanks for that. I ended up getting the marketing spiel when I searched, which helpfully didn’t tell me anything.

I’ve tried but she’s more inclined to ride around on the Deeprun Tram or jump off flying mounts from a great height. Which is fine when she’s playing her gnome, which gets a parachute, but gets a bit expensive when she does it on one of my characters.

I can’t actually use my standard poster. He’s to low lvl after the squish. Haven’t bothered to lvl him yet xD
