What is the least changed ability over the years?

Just wondering, what is the ability that has been changed the least over the years?

I think it’s probably icy veins, i think it barely got 1 or 2 changes since it’s introduction in bc.

The most though? Probably combustion.

Warrior charge except stun is gone :frowning:

Lay on hands prob the least change, maybe once for cd? And bubble aswell

I think Mind Vision qualifies as having had zero changes (with the exception of what level you learn it, maybe). There are probably other gimmick abilities that haven’t seen any changes either.

Druid rejuvenation comes to mind.

There are a lot of unchanged/almost unchanged abilities.

Could list at least a few per class,
Frost Shock was first to memory though.

Moving forward or WASD

Frost shock?

Fireball

Rogue distract maybe? Only changes were ages ago:

Patch changes

Patch 1.11.0 (20-Jun-2006): The Rogue’s ability Distract now works properly against other players.

Patch 1.2.0 (18-Dec-2004): Distract is now effective against creatures that are already distracted.

Mind Control

this damn ability still does the same thing it did in vanilla

mage slow fall, not been changed since 2016 and the changes from when it was made was just tooltip wording

Well Distract has not been changed since 20th June 2006 so that’s got 10 years on slow fall

Also Slow Fall had a change other than a tool tip spelling:

Patch 3.3.0 (08-Dec-2009): This spell can now activate trinkets that can trigger from casting a helpful spell.

I’d go with Far Sight.

rng.

still has the ability to ruin your soul.

Yes, it still DCs people if you use it since its introduction

Alot of resource generating abilities have seen close to 0 change.

Really? it never did it for me.
My issue with it had always been that it breaks with distance from the caster. It does not always let it finish the job it is meant to do.

Conjure food: 2 changes
Play dead: 2 changes

Found it!
