Im thikning of leveling one more mage before SL hits. What is the fastest way 1-50 and how many hours gametime would it require?
Also anyone from ebta know time from 50-60, since I would also have to ding both to 60 when SL hits.

the fastest is pandaria. Ive done my other vulpera in 12 hours
I am not to sure about levelingtime in SL but now in prepatch record to 50 is like 3hours 30min or something. but thats optimized with buffs and starting at lvl 10 with allied race i think.
should probably be doable in like 7-10 hours played if you focus and dont spend much time just standing still somewere.
WoD is the fastest for 10 - 50.
My /played on my fresh Paladin (excluding time at level 50) is 15.5 hours, and that including all the down time / AFKing that I did.
If you focused then you could shave significant time off that.

As for 50 - 60 it’s really hard to say because they’ve been adjusting the EXP and leveling routes a lot over the past few months, as it was broken.

Hello Naviic ! best way is to level as arcane ,as it’s broken at low lvl.

I did my latest alt (i’m almost out of slots because there’s still a 50 cap for unknown reasons…) and 1-50 took me about 14 hours. I was only in STV (Northern 95% completed South about 55% completed) and a couple of dungeons. Add mining & herb to that. It was too fast really.
Before that I did an alliance alt where I was in only Loch Modan and Dun Morough and was done very f ast. Only 2 zones (and a couple of random 5m)
After last xp tunings ( 2-3 weeks?) it was like 8-10 hours for average people to do 50-60.
Ofc this might change a lot on gamestyle but u get the idea at least
my shammy took me like 5 hours 1-50
psure 50-60 is longer
Whilst there are those who speed level or optimal level, including the usual faffing about I do it takes me 16-20 hours to level a character. I procrastinate a lot.

If you want totally optimal levelling I would recommend Azeroth Auto Pilot as it will take you through the fastest route (which is through WoD).

I took two to 50 in the past two days. About 9 hours each. Flying at 30 but i started at 10 since these were for heritage armor. Its fast now. In one zone, zuldazar, i went all the way to 50 from 10. But this is with the %16 xp buff.
Surely the worlds best mage would just auto ding 60 when SL hits being the mighty power house you are !

As for 50-60 I’m not sure now, they keep tweaking the levelling. I have no idea what final version we’ll get and I’ve not tested recently as I would like to feel fresh(ish) for launch and not be sick of the content.
No longer than Chromie levelling is now for 10-50.

Hopefully leveling 50-60 will go faster than in Classic…
i did 13-15 hours on 1-50 ^^ so fairly quick - but seing some can do it in less than 4 hours… But that is just some 
I have leveled 4 characters to 50 from 10. I found WoD to be the most fun and fastest. First 2 i did only dungeons but thats get pretty boring after a while!

10-50 - 12 hours /played - some afk time is included. I just did some questing at first, wasted my time doing the WOD intro, then I released that treasures give bad XP and I started to spam Island Expedition because I hate Wod questing. And Island Expeditions is fun, quick, and has a short Q time. Also, I got some rare drops while doing island expeditions.
in 2 days u can get 60 anyway
