I play now due to force of habit…but I think the main reason is probably because I’ve invested so much time into my character collecting achievements/mounts/titles, etc.

I like raiding with guildies, and more specifically progressing and getting curve casually with my ingame friends, I would not play if I didn’t have friends to raid with.

Only reason I play WoW is because I have virtually no interest in any other game regardless of how decent it looks. Kind of ironic really, trying a new game feels like a chore and here I am playing wow.

Getting achivements and mounts is what i do, gear is not worth wasting time on becouse it gets replaced each patch :smiley:

  1. do some random bgs on as many alts on high level as i can, cause the biggest joy for me is to play as many classes as i can
  2. do some arenas with the boys ( mostly cause we prefer to not expose each other to toxic LFG ) i know for 10+ years
  3. do raids to collect tmog, for each armour type if possible
  4. and chat with forumeers.
    so 95% casual

The scenery. The graphical departement of Blizzard seems to be the only one capable of doing a decent job.

It was New Tinkertown that got me addicted.

Arena and the lack of any other game coming close to having as fluid combat.

Sad to say the game isnt great on its own merits. More so the lack of any other great, fluid, mechanically high quality game.

Looking at FF14, New World and all the other stuff out there, the combat just looks god awful and clunky. I like to compare the movement/combat of Diablo 3 with PoE. While PoE is better in every other way, the combat and movement in d3 is just insanelt fluid and to that i give props to the devs responsible.

Main reason to play is raiding mythic with a good group of people. If I’m not in a guild I enjoy my stay in I don’t feel the need to play.

I love killing people in PvP combat. No other reason.

It’s easy to just log in, do a few quest, lfr or whatever. It is a time off from stress in the real world.

Why is this not a valid reason? I bet it’s the main reason for a lot of people.
I play WoW because of M+, but if my friends stopped playing I would too.
