What is "the most forgiving" healer for random BGs these days?

I am looking for a healer with good survivabiltiy, good mana regeneration and strong single target healing for random BGs only. I don’t have time and patience for some more serious PvP content (for now).

I have Priest lvl 60, Monk 50 and Druid 57. I was pretty good with Holy Priest in BfA (i didn’t play Shadowlands). Is Holy Priest still so tanky, that you can facetank most melees (thx to 30% + 10% + another 10% almost perma “passive” or/and talented dmg reduction), while healing others and Mind controlling opponents? I also like MW monk, but it looks like a very squishy spec: one stunlock and you are dead i guess? And Resto Druid also looks promising. The only downside of Holy (and MW) is too many keybinds, but i think i can handle that.

I don’t want to touch Discipline Priest (way to complicated) and Resto Shaman (maybe i can change my mind on resto shaman). I can also lvl up a Holy Paladin or Evoker, I don’t like Evokers visually though, but it seems they are very strong healers?
I can play two of them: what do you recommend for lvl 70 random BGs?
Sorry for English …

Is Evoker easy or complicated like disco priest?

Evoker is very easy to pick up, good cds and nesr permanent slow immunity + the root breaking breaths makes it the only healer melee will struggle to connect with p much
Not to mention the QoL being immune to 3 CCs heading into a teamfight

Thx. And what would be another easy healer for BGs? I am not sure if Dracthyr Evoker as a race suits me visually … I would rather play some other race, other healer, like Holy Priest, MW monk or Resto Druid. Are any of them comparable to Evoker or at least not far behind?

MW Monk is really good for BGs, but definitely don’t have good mana regen compared to Evoker. Pretty simple to play in my opinion. Throw out Renewing Mists on CD, and Soothing Mist into Enveloping or Vivify (depending how much damage the player is taking) Very good single target healing.

The mobility and their defensives are pretty self explanatory as well. You’ll probably want to drop combat a lot though to drink, but that goes for pretty much all healers that aren’t Evokers.

That’s the popularity of healers in RBGs, which I guess transfers over to random BGs for the most part. So gives you a rough indicator of who performs good in 10 and 15 man BGs.

Monk is the most fun for battlegrounds.

You can have fun with your portals in maps with flags, and Ring of Peace is fun.

Since you’re playing casually, you can also pick suboptimal but very fun talents lile Mighty Ox Kick.

Thx guys. I will go with Monk then. And most likely Resto Druid as alt.

Yeah definitely try druid if you’re good with a lot of keybinds. You can tank 4-5 average bg enjoyers a lot of the time, and you can spec into raid healing or single target healing.

Also nelf healer should be illegal. Just dump all your mana, break los and start drinking right next to a big group fight instantly with meld. No need to wait for wild imps etc to leave you alone.

Interesting … i play Druid just because the class is fun (all 4 specs) and because it doesn’t have a lot of keybinds, at least not at lvl 60. On Holy Priest and MW Monk i have way more keybinds.
Sure, Druid as a class, probably has more spells and abilities than Holy Priest or MW Monk, but these abilities are “shared” between cat form, bear form and caster form, so you can, for example, easily bind bear’s Mangle, cat’s Shred and no form Regrowth on a same button. So your action bars don’t look as full of spells and abilities as Holy and MW’s action bars, where you can barely find a free key to bind them all.
Sorry for English …

I play also druid, monk and priest (disc) healers. For random BGs all three are fun.

I’d say druid is most forgiving, then monk, then priest (as disc as I don’t play holy). But gearing is easy now so you could try all three?

Druid has strong heals, is tanky, and doesn’t need to cast heals so much as you can rely on hots quite a lot, so getting interrupted is less of an issue. Also quite a lot of utility which is nice, and yolo catform builds can be fun to do some extra damage with (in epics where your individual healing output isn’t as important).

Monk also has strong heals, it can pump them out, but it’s survivability feels low compared to druid and can get shut down more easily as it relies of casting (although mobility can help). Fistweaving is a blast however, and it can be fun to watch your opponents wondering wtf is going on when you’re melting them.

Priest is arguably the most fun imo when you have the opportunity to pump damage out (feels like a dps spec sometimes) and execute people with SWD, which is a hoot. Damage is getting upgraded too next patch. It can feel reasonably tanky too. Heals feel the weakest, also prone to getting shut down.

Again not sure on holy side of things! Have read it’s a little weaker in PVP in some instances (but has just been buffed).

Anyway! My 2p. Hope it helps dude.

For my brain 38 keybinds for combat abilities feels like a lot, but I haven’t played that many specs in the past few years
