What is the most immersive but competitive wow UI addon?

So here’s a small confession, I’ve always played with the Original UI even when I raided seriously back in the day.

However after 15 years I feel like the UI is getting dull and I’m bored of the same look, so I’ve been thinking of spicing things up.

Usually my screen is just a mixture of self coded numbers and modified already existing weakaura strings, it’s efficient and with it’s help I managed to get some pretty insane performance… but… its just feels too much sci-fi and breaks my immersion, especially since now I just play casually at the M+ ~15 levels.

So I’d like to ask you, my forum friends what are most immersive UI that feels like it belongs to a fantasy game rather than a sci-fi one, delivers important information and efficient enough while not cluttering my screen?

Also if you know of any immersive addons please do share them :stuck_out_tongue: and I’d also appreciate if you shared your presets for Ingame UI for the addons you are using!

Try to check out ElvUI, I’ve been using it for almost a year now and I’m still enjoying It. :d

Have a look around at streamers, see if there is anything you fancy.

Hmm I’ve tried it and immediately backed off, it felt more fitting for a StarCraft mmo rather than World of Warcraft itself, can it be made more immersive? if so can you post a picture of your UI?

Hmm, any streamer you fancy Puny?

I’ve been using ElvUI and I’m satisfied.
But I gues u r looking for something different.

SUI Is pretty good, its like a tweeked default ui but clean

Streaming is not something I enjoy. If I want to play a game I’ll play it, I find it incredibly dull to watch someone else play a game. Even if they are at a higher level. Streaming to me is like watching paint dry.

I have a friend who loves all things UI and he does watch streamers

You can change pretty much everything about elvui. What you get when you download and install it ingame is just the standard layout.

I’m using elvui as well but I changed it completely. I also hide my actionbars using just WAs for ‘visual cues’:

The most immersive would be Alt-Z

It is still the same UI :stuck_out_tongue:

I kinda want something abit more wild, like AzeriteUI but more optimized and efficient.

I don’t mind a slight drop in performance but AzeriteUI drops my performance way too much :<

No it’s not. It’s the one we used to have like a decade before they made that new minimalized one. Difference is so big i am using addon to have to back like it was.

I’ve been using GW2 ui which is a replica of Guild Wars 2 ui for WoW. It’s really clean, minimal and immersive especially when questing. I highly recommend it and I’ve tried a lot of UI setups including ElvUI.

I’d say it ruins immersion quite a bit, looks like some bloody space tech to me

But thats just me

I use TUKUI, modified by myself, but the standard one is cool too.

You can download shadowed unitframes, bartender and plater and make your own ui basicly, maybe even try some weakauras.

Well, I prefer ElvUI, it’s not as immersive but it’s subtle and provides lots of customization.

I currently have:

  • Elvui and ElvuiAddons
  • Recount
  • Pawn
  • SimulationCraft
  • WeakAuras 2
  • xCT+
  • Deadly Boss Mods
  • World Quest Tracker

That’s all I need. Elvui, xCT+ and WeakAuras are key to visual delight in my ui.

From where took you the inspiration? Looks like an UI I have seen on /wowui.

Hmm I currently am using :-

  • Advanced Interface options
  • Angry Keystones
  • Astral Keys
  • Bigwigs
  • Littlewigs
  • Details
  • ElitismHelper
  • Mapcoords
  • Method Dungeon Tools
  • Raider .io
  • Tomtom
  • Weakauras2
  • Dejacharacterstats
  • Nplates

But my screen is extremely not immersive :< and I’m tired of the UI look of WoW.

Can Elvui Be skinned? I’ve been checking this spartanUI addon its looking nice but way too inefficient.

I’d prefer UI where my character head is displayed in an cool way, I think there was some addon that showed an animated character icon, I don’t mind if it clutters my screen abit, since I’m used to analyzing everything on the screen :stuck_out_tongue:
