Why can’t they just merge the low population servers together?
The high population servers never have queues and there are hundreds of basically empty servers now.
Until there are cross-realm guilds, playing on a low population server is just gimping yourself.
Oh? Just wait until DF release and see the complaints.
No thanks, it is bad enough to be forcefully phased together with players from other realms when trying to farm rare, which itself defeats the point of being on a low populated realm.
The mind boggles. But there must be a reason behind it. I would have thought they would have done this by now. Maybe if the community just keep on them they may decide to do so. Right now even “HP” realms seem pretty bleak and empty.
Maybe for a few weeks then its business as usual - don’t think that DF is going to be any different to the last 2 expansions. Buzz at the start then its going to be a struggle to find players for the rest of the season. This may suit solo and casual players but its hard on guilds and group players.
They seem to have taken a more proactive approach in Classic and for some reason will not apply that logic to Retail. They either need to make more connections or take a leaf out of the Classic approach and close realms and move people. On Classic people got a choice to move and if they ignored it or were inactive they were just moved by Blizz.

classic Wotlk is already dying very fast apparently… people forgot about how great it really wasent it seems… and are quitting because of it…
Wotlk was the turning point in which wow turned into retail.

and the cycle is just repeating itself over again.
they took away the only redeeming features of the wotlk expansion and made it 1000 times worse because of it.
it is doomed to fail at this point.

What? No, I don’t play on other realms than the one I first rolled on, and the fact that it is a low pop realm do I consider being a perk. It is not my fault that it is low pop, and you can’t call me an exploiter for prefering the sparse population.
What is rude for who? I am not stealing rares from other players, and I have to repeat mysell, I am being phased together with players from other realms anyway, so there isn’t much of a benefit in regards to rares anyway.

The point is to trap people there and then make few milions of dollars a year from transfers.
Yeah, Not happy lol Kilrogg used to be medium, I made characters on Silvermoon full and Dreanor full and couldn’t play on them during Shadowlands launch, so when they offered free transfers, I put all my toons back on Kilrogg now Kilrogg is high not looking forward if I day one the expansion lol.
They are just simply something that Blizzard simply abandoned especially in EU side. Btw. Laughing Skull does not even have a forum. Why?
Isn’t Laughing Skull connected with that pile of other reams? When that happens, the realm cluster takes the name of the first realm when listed alphabetically. For you: Ahn’Qiraj.

There’s a chance the forum has been combined like my server’s. So your forum would be on whatever server Laughing Skull is connected with
High population realms are fine for launch day.
Its only the full realms that have to worry.
What is this /2 you speak of? I don’t think i’ve seen anything in it in months other than a lost boost selling attempt 
They should just make 1 megaserver.
When I hover over people’s names I usually only see about 5 or 6 servers anyway. My server used to be active but now its dead.
They should connect all servers indeed and add more channels. If people want to speak spanish let them speak it.

Would be nice, because from the… 100 different servers?, there’s roughly half a dozen big servers, and maybe one or two dozen medium pops. Rest is, I guess, fairly low.
No problems on Mirage for me, in fact it’s full of LFG spam for everything, be it normals, heroics or raids, even an occasional pvp recruitment.
