They reply with the regular boilerplate:

I reply then:

I tried all of these except for reinstalling, which seems like a lot of trouble. Can you please advise what is the point of the report numbers if I can’t get more details from you about them?
Also what do you mean by tech expert? I’m a software engineer, does that matter?"
They reply with the SAME boilerplate just formatted differently:

They also mark the ticket as Resolved so you can’t reply on it anymore. What is the point of all of this?
how are you raising a ticket? I have a bug with the garrison storyline and can’t start the first quest to get my garrison working and need someone to reset my garrison. I can’t find a way to raise a ticket at all. All I can do is report a bug which won’t get responded to. I’ve tried going trough all the support stuff and nothing allows me to actually submit a ticket or chat to a bot - all I get is help articles which have nothing to do with my issue.
Yeah my friend who posted a similar issue had the same bot / copy paste reply where he already completed all the steps they asked him to do , after a reply they asked him to “ask the gaming community”

If you want to talk to genuine support staff, then go over to the US forum which unfortunately requires purchasing an account there, and then ask them.
For no reason whatsoever, they have always divided the US and EU customer contact staff, like support staff and so on. Yet we all use English as a way to contact them. It’s completely meaningless. Then the EU support staff was gradually let go over the years, and now it is either the most bored intern in charge of all of it at all times with no thought for anything, or it can very well be the most basic AI with no possibility to interact with as well as it not being allowed to give anything but the exact same responses every time.
Trial accounts are indeed accepted for posting (still requires level 10 toon).
As for technical support, due to Microsoft downsizing the team (read: laying them off) the tech support portion got hit and only very limited assistance may be offered which is quite a shame.
