What is the point of having a forum?

I have been told that need to make a ingame suggestion. in order for blizzard to change the game. How I know that anyone read those? take them 24 hour to reply to a ticket.
This place is Upside-down World. THE WHOLE POINT OF having a forum is to make suggestions!!!

Posting suggestions on the forum allows players to express their opinions and potentially influence community discussions

Now I watch how dottie<---- the bot will comment within 5 mins “bla bla I am account ran by blizzard acting like a player”

Do you want to be heard ? This is easy to do. You are looking for open topics created by blizzard and comment on each one. As for the bots on the forum, it also seems to me for a long time that the forum was flooded with bots with the function of maintaining a conversation.

Actually it’s more likely the forums are here so players can talk to each other.

Blizzard don’t read the EU forums except when they come here to ban people or to tell people to open a ticket in the CS forum.

You may have more luck on the US forums. To do that you would need to make a US starter account and level to 10, you don’t need a US subscription to do that.

The people who get the suggestions are not the GMs, they are the Devs. I think they have them automatically sorted.

I’m not a bot, I don’t think Blizzard could even be bothered to make bots to reply on the forums.

Blizzard don’t come back and read those threads.

It’s been years since anyone at blizzard has read the EU forums. It’s essentially a black hole for people to complain into far away from where other people might see it. It’s always better to centralize negative feedback in your own forum where you can ignore it. That way people like you won’t complain somewhere where potential players might read, and then not play.

Ignore them OP.
You as a paying costumer; Have every right to make a thread about whatever subject you deem worthy of a thread.

Wrong
Kaivax literally responded to a thread quickly after it was made here

They don’t have to respond to every thread.

I always think Forum was mostly for asking help from co-players. Help for macro and such. And a place to play back and forth with crazy ideas that once in a blue moon Blizz pass by and read. Blizz do read forum now and then - even EU one.
And as Dottie say they read more US forum and is easy, but painful, to post there. I did, I pained my way through yucky island of Retail to post there  I also had response from Blizz there. But in-game suggestion is as easy and better for reaching Blizz!

This was not because of that thread, but because they were making an announcement and posted it in both forums. You’ll also note they post hotfix/justification posts they make for the american forum in both, that does not mean however they read feedback in the EU forum.

What? That was literally an EU-specific problem, They did not make the same post on NA forums or anywhere else. Only a response to that thread.

Hey, I didn’t like Dottie at first either, but now I think he’s OK. You’ll get used to it.

Blizzard has a team of feedback specialists who are working to improve the gaming experience and take into account the opinions of users. There are also many examples of how user comments and suggestions were taken into account in further work on the company’s games.

They don’t take feedback from the EU forums, and I suspect that team doesn’t even exist.

Yes, but none from the EU forums.

Do you have any proof? I doubt

Well, the amount of Blue posts that are in reply to the threads here is enough proof for me.

Check for yourself, there aren’t any.

Given the fact that classic has less then 10 people working on it including support staff, that’s correct.

its useless but I need it for warcraftlogs kek
