What is the point of TG?

So basically im wondering what the actual advantage of TG?

It costs us more valor/conquest upping weps and the fact it costs 2 sparks for my 2h i feel abit short changed when you have dh/rogue putting up bigger numbers with 1h’s theyve spent 1 spark on both…

Wasnt as bad when warrior was actually S tier last season but now were smack bang in the middle and expectations to use more resources just to stay competetive

Please nobody mention SMF lol.

The point is that in Wrath, players wanted to “look badass” dual-wielding 2H-weapons (I think TG originated from “Diablo 2”, and the whining for it in WoW was pretty much incessant), but with WoW’s weapon design (Bigger is better), it looks quite ridiculous instead.

That’s pretty much the whole reason TG exists, pure “Rule of cool”, even if costs for 2-handers are balanced around players needing just one of them, at least you look cool, for all that extra effort.

I think id sacrifice the ‘‘cool’’ part just to be on an even playing field as everyone else tbh

yeah the fact we need double the currencies, ressources as rogue or dualwield frost dks is pretty upsetting. if there would be a benefit in form of more dps than the other classes to justify the doubled cost i wouldnt mind. but unfortunately there is no benefit only downside
