Just started seeing people in trade chat selling Wailing caverns boost.
What is that? I knew boosts were to endgame raids and mythic+ dungeons, but to a vanilla lvl 15 dungeon? ( I guess it’s no more a lvl 15 dungeon duo to the scaling system but whatever )
Can someone please explains everything to me?
One highlevel boosts a lower lvl through a dungeon for XP and Loot.
It has been a thing since vanilla.

That was nerfed in patch 7.3.5 were high levels reduce the XP for low levels.
Sure, but there’s still quest hand-in and loot.
Is there twink gear in there?
Or maybe the person doesn’t realise completion xp has been nerfed…

I think it’s more the second one that he didn’t know it was nerfed.
Yes there is Twink gear in their - The Fang Set for Int leather wearers / Slither-scale for int mail users and low level H Pala twinks because of the set bonus.
Normally takes between 15 and 25 runs to get a complete set including the BoE gloves that drop from specific mobs

isn’t that ghost sword in there, theres some other super rare gear n pets too. The rare mobs can drop lots of nice things that people will pay a lot for. As an instance, I think theres a lot of rare loot in there so trash will sell boosts … that’s just the nature of trash
It scales up to lvl 60. Think that is it. Although I can’t imagine to do it more than once, willingly.
There are some twink gear in the Wailing Caverns, but is mostly the Fang set and Slitherscale.
