i got a crazy idea. if u dont like the end game content cuz u keep throwing it back to lacking ilvl/io score wich means u barely even did the content. just dont do it. I KNOW IT SOUNDS CRAZY. but instead of complaining on the forums while the issue is clearly ur too cba to gear up properly instead of just getting free gear. thats how it is sir.
cause even +5s give u gear if ur only 370 so saying u need titanforging to become relevant is beyond me. maybe dont try starting at instant 400 ilvl gear and build up to it.
I give up, you all win. I don’t know what to do, i’m terrible…and so on.
I don’t want free gear. i just want to know if something is an upgrade and strive towards it. Like doing a dungeon and getting a piece of loot. With M+ more often than not all the “loot” you get is crappy whitenoise azerite.
That just makes no sense lore wise for what is probably the final raid of the xpac. Like how are Azerite wounds going to be fixed, how is Sylvannas going to die, ect.
So now just like fight some random toon from the fringes of the lore. And I though BFA story couldn’t get worse.
It’s not as hard as what people make out, to get your score up. Got to 1.4k on an alt in like 10 days. Just list your key and make a group. Start small and get to know all the mechanics. 10+ you need to know bosses and trash like the back of your hand.
Comes with time, and it’s the only reason I play at the mo. Enjoying pushing myself and see how far I can get.
There’s gonna be no end of failures, whiners, and general douche bags on your journey. I constantly get kicked out of groups last second, because “got a better tank bro soz”. Cos i’m on pally, and wars are smashing it. But at the same time, loads of fun runs, and brilliant people you get chatting too a long the way. You’ll get plenty of sweet TF items drop, a nice achieve, etc. Beat a temple 16 key by 3 seconds earlier, group was well happy. We all had a brill chat after for like 10 mins, and ended up with 2 new mates on bnet.
Did you even took the Time to learn why it would happen and what exactly happens there ?
This - and it may surprise you - actually makes sense and from what i’ve seen on the PTR the raid story is great although i have no idea why our caracters are so dumb.
I ran into this a few months ago and now it has gotten worse because I have capped out at level 50 artifact power on all 3 of my alts.
Basically I have been doing the following:
Emissaries where the final reward is not artifact power (if artifact power is the reward then I just skip it)
Old achievements that I overlooked or missed from previous expansions. I usually choose an expansion on a particular day and work on those achievements.
If the Darkmoon faire is up, I do it.
If the Darkshore warfront is up, I will do it.
If there is a special event, I will do it.
I also have limited my time in WOW to about an hour in the morning and an hour at night.
If there is hardly anything worth doing on steps 1 to 6 on my list, I either go to Final Fantasy 14 or I just do something else during my 2 hours of WOW time.
If you feel like you have nothing to strive for in the current patch, take a week or two break and then return in 8.2. It will be a new season which means It will be easier to start keystones, since many players will start over from 2-3 and work their way up again.
The two new zones in 8.2 also come with decent enought PvE content, which will allow you to work on both your Ilvl and other perhaps more interesting goals at your own pace. Essences for example always leave you with a goal post.
I don’t know what you have done so far in game, however I’d recommend you to get most story content done before 8.2 if you haven’t done so already. Then just go on a break and chill for a moment.
Or you could roll a alliance char on perhaps AD and try for the “Two sides of every tale” achivement. Perhaps you might also enjoy Alliance on AD, It’s a very active community afterall and might provide you with something.
I’m sorry but you don’t get to 410 only by titanforging. There’s plenty of ways to gear up as has been suggested earlier in this thread.
Do the free 400 ilvl warfronts. Do the free 395 weapon quests and 400 ilvl Azerite armor quests.
Even regular m0 dungeons drop 370 gear now so you can’t really blame people for not wanting to carry you straight from m0 to m10.
Or maybe you are trying to say people should be doing that, I’unno.
There’s nothing wrong with not wanting to do any of what the game has to offer, but you cannot log into a game such as this with the attitude of “ENTERTAIN ME!”
You need to seek out that entertainment, it is there, but you have to make an effort yourself. If none of the activities are of interest to you, then you may need to accept that you are done with WoW. At least for the time being.
Any other game on the market is judged by this standard: am I having fun and a good time? Is the content instantly engaging? Online, am i feeling I’m playing an online game and enjoy the company of my fellow players?
More like "i already listened to a cursed blade and released an old god, i accepted the gift of No’zof and kept it for months while talking with our leaders and now [even dumber but let’s not spoil shall we ?]
