I’ve moved server a few times now, so most of my cool names are sitting on placeholder level 1 characters.

That said… I have healthstones for a warlock, Twit for a hunter, my priest is called Lifegrip.

I grew to love Alysea’s druid Lunagazer.

Mainly because the first time I saw this character, she was wearing a nice purple transmog set that was really calming to look at, and because the name itself makes me remember Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter, a weird, but chill and very loyal and caring person.

I might be a belf lover first thing, but a really well made night elf, and Luna, are simply love. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Pandalf, because I love bad puns.

Not specifically related to a character, but the comments I got when I turned up with my main (hunter) with a wolf I had named “Vegetarian” in tow for the next raid I was in. My character still has the pet in the stable.

It would be this one!

I was always happy I got this name. It’s caused plenty good discussion and I’ve met a few people I now have as realID friends and play with because of it!

I like to choose names depending on the race and their class, even though I am not an RPer, I still like to give them a little bit of lore.

So, as a Thornspeaker Drust I am, I named this character Ulfaro.

To honor the last drust druid, and to continue his legacy.

Anduril. I have that on era and retail on my Paladins. Not quite accurate to the name of Aragorn’s sword, as it doesn’t have the ú accent, but I prefer it without anyway.

Sums up my BM hunter playstyle perfectly !

I wish we could have last names, at least on RP servers. Sadly seen a few nasty ones so I guess people cannot be trusted.

My DH Shandrina was named after a dead npc at Silverwing Refuge. I made up a story where she suvived the attack, pretended she had died and became a fighter.

It was only when seeing ‘new’ Classic for the first time, that I saw her when she was alive, a strange and lovely moment. :ghost:

Others:
Silvermyst - Draenei hunter accidentally named after the Isle
Clovermeadow - Tauren Druid
Decalia - undead warlock - Collector of eccentric grey items and sticky green mixtures.
Icecrystal - shadow priest, should have been a frost mage really
Amerlynderi - Belf (got carried away trying to think of something elfy :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)

A few battle pets are named after Terry Pratchett characters - Dangerous Beans and Dark Tan.

Hard to pick. To me it’s probably Aylish, Eyovy, Minda and Sharleya. Minda is my dwarf, the other 3 are nelves.

I named my Tauren after an NPC in game, his name was Runk. I had to name change after all my Scandinavian friends, fell over laughing.

You can google it’s meaning.

Ah I remember a brave guy who named his female Tauren Priest : Milkdispenser .
And than there was this time in tbc when I was getting corpse camped by an undead rogue named Scissors .
In the chat it read “Scissors greets Paper. Paper Died”

Oh and of course the Draenei warrior named Alien the Predator .

created my hunter right after Vanilla called him Croman and some expansions later Blizz stole my name and gave it to a in game npc lol.

Runk is a fairly innocent name, even the devs agrees on that.

That’s the one!!! That’s where I got the name!!

Thought I was being clever with this name/race/class combo.

Moontear - nelf priest
Forestheart - nelf druid

And all other names are elvish alike. Name actually represents character and player behind it. :smirk:
