Not even seen it drop to someone else to give hope
Worst of all, I wouldn’t even use it; I have my favorite mounts
I just want it
I must have it
It became a very unhealthy obsession

Deathchargers Rains over 500 attempts… It might be an easy farm but I hate the place now. Antorus Mythic Mount is over 300 goes now and counting.
Have the same issue, However all my friends got it in front of my face. Yet they have done like 5% of the timewalker runs I have. They even taunt and mock me for it. Help.

I think probably the one that is the most doomed is the Headless Horseman’s mount as there’s such a small time window to try for it every year. Every year I seem to be in at least one group every couple of days where it drops … but never for me.

Venture Co business plans, from BfA island expeditions. It’s the last thing I need for Expedition Leader title, been farming it in BfA, Shadowlands, and now Dragonflight as well, and it just isn’t dropping. It’s rare enough to get Venture Co invasion (since they are not tied to any specific week), and then additionally the quest item has a small chance to drop.
Mimirons head. But i love ulduar so i dont mind comming back there from time to time.
But definetly not hardcore farming it each week with 400 alts. Because for me its last one of these old school rare “woah” mounts that i still miss and if i get it it will be for me like sad monent . idk why…im just stupid. I dont wanna be done with the game 
Tusks of Mannoroth remain my unicorn. Mostly because I cannot find the motivation to run the entirety of SoO on a weekly basis anymore, granted, but at this point I’ve run the place more times than I care to count.
On the flipside I’ve pretty much got the rare mounts I really wanted from older content. A’lar, Invincible and the Fel Golem are all parked next to one another. Win some, lose some I guess.

i have been somwhat lucky with drops, but a cursed drop that i have is fishing mounts. No matter how much i love fishing and how much time i spend trying to get them, they will never drop 
…and Al’ar. They don’t exist, and there’s 2 type of people when they are concerned.
Either the lucky ones who didn’t even know about them and got it first try, or the ones who have been endlessly farming them since forever and are rightfully mad they won’t give up their drops after 5 or 10 years 
That too. My cousin was insanely lucky to get it in his first ever TW. Myself, I have killed a thousand bosses at least and still no drop, even for others in my party.
For non mount drops, it’s probably the dark mail mog from Cathedral, the one Veresaa here used to wear at times.
Talk about a mog you may try for 8 times tops per week, 1x on Mythic, and 7x on Heroic. This makes it a harder-to-obtain set compared to other dungeons, but the real treat is the legs.
They only drop from the 3 named elites, and even they have an under-the-bottom drop rate. Meaning if you farm it as many times as you can, you get 8x3=24 coin flips to see it, with a 0.1% drop rate. If it was a bracer peeps could pass but a leg armor… really?
Otherwise, if I were to go for a class transmog set, MC would be the most unforgiving - the very first raid simply has a sheer amount of drops, many shared between bosses! And the worst part is, they are filled with rings and necklaces, aka useless drops. And the looks are class-locked, to make it worse - thank god Rogue gets lookalikes in their class hall, but my druids ran the raid for years before seeing a Cenarion Spaulders drop. 
Al’ar seriously dropped first try for me, was so happy with that. ICC on the other hand, damn. I love how you call it Invisible’s Reins haha

I’ve got a heart melding experience with that.
One day I was farming it and my WoW best friend logged in, I invited him in because we were bored, and killed Arthas 25 HC together.
Turns out that Invincible dropped. I knew that he was super hyped on the mount since he was a fan of Klinda (PvP warrior) and he loved the mount from those old glory days; so I said to him: “Alright Shadom, we will click need on the mount at the count of 1…2…3…”; and I pressed “Pass”.
Damn, I’ll never farm that mount again, it’s owner is my friend, forever :D.

Definitely Invisible for me, though i haven’t gone near ICC since DF went live. Al’ar on the other hand, dropped for me first time
I actually managed to get it yesterday, I feel horrible about it knowing how much time people have spent on it while I do maybe 10 timewalking during an entire year.
There’s several things, I wish I had time to go after in this game like the Paladin T2 set from Vanilla.
Unfortunately I never seem to have time for it.
The closest I got from this situation was during BFA Warfronts.
I managed to get the basic sets, for Plate, Mail, Leather and Cloth.
However I ended up giving up on leather belt and pants from Darkshore Warfront.
I was just too burned out, by that point 
I could had gone do the Old Raids during SL. I didn’t purchased the expansion.
Unfortunately, I wasted all that time, farming for the legendary cape in my BEs, Hunter, Warrior, Monk and Paladin. I also added 15 more characters to my already 10. I was thinking when SL would become available as it is now, I would split the characters through the 4 covenants.
Things didn’t went as I planned as I ended up buying DF and now I find myself playing 25 characters
Edit: the shield from Darkshore Warfront is missing as well, in my collection.
My UK account has it and and 1 or 2 upgrades from the basic set of the Arathi Warfront. I was farming them on my BE Paladin and my Human Warrior.

Nothing at all…its not worth the loss of sanity to be farming something religiously.
I just pop into old raids occasionally and if something drops then great.
