I quite like the cata/mop maps especially Winterspring and Ferelas. They are not super fast, but the green and white are nice&relaxing.
WoD- Frostfire Ridge. It’s one of the few zones that feels like a harsh enviorement.
Legion- Highmountain. I just love the mountains and creeks.
MoP- Jade forest. Its a really nice relaxing setting.
BFA- Drustvar. The creepy witchcraft setting is something i enjoyed allot for levelling.
The other expansion didnt have a particuler zone i enjoyed.
Vanilla Stranglehorn vale (both of their side)
5 cataclysm zones - Deepholm, Twilight highlands, Uldum, Mount Hyjal, Vash’ir
Legion - Suramar, Azsuna, Highmountain, Val’sharah, Stormheim
The BfA zones are all really nice.
My 10 favorite zones to level:
- Val’shara (Legion)
- Aszuna (Legion)
- Suramar (Legion)
- Ashenvale (Cata)
- Winterspring (Cata)
- Stonetalon Mountains (Cata)
- Silverpine Forest (Cata)
- Duskwood (Cata)
- Jade Forest (MoP)
- Dragonblight (WotLK)
Drustvar is also amazing along with all the other legion zones.
I loved leveling in Tanaris and Uldum. Basically anywhere sandy
But TBC remains top expansion experience to me, simply because I made great friendships and did a lot of fun TBC things during that era.
Idk why everyone hates this one. I think it looks amazing and really enjoyed the underwater storyline and general design of the zone.
All the Cata zones (yeah, especially Vash’ijr), Feralas, Felwood, Ashenvale (got a preference for Kalimdor), Grizzly Hills, all the BfA zones, Suramar, Kun’Lai Summit.
Although not the most streamlined levelling experience, my favourites are the tbc zones. I have great memories of when they were current and it’s nice revisiting them. From the more recent expansions, I really enjoyed Drustvar.
Legion and bfa (alliance only. Zandalar sucks)
I would say jade forest and the valley in mop. But maybe ive levelled too much toons there.
Soo
Silverpine cata
Eastern and western plaguelands
Stormsong valley
Uldum
Darkshire/lakeshire
Elwynn Forest (not on Argent Dawn!!!) , Westfall, Redridge, Duskwood, Western Plaguelands.
That is my favourite route. If I still have more zones needed to level I also love Tanaris and strangely Felwood. As a Hordie it’s just undead zones instead.
And I also love Mount Hyjal, Uldum and WoD Shadowmoon Valley.
bastion ofc.
All starting race area alliance or horde until wotlk classic ,stranglethor classic , dustwallow marsh classic , theramore classic, swap of sorrows classic, badlands arathi, hillsbrad , alterac classic , booty bay-racthet classic felwood , winterspring classic , ferals , un’goro classic.
Hell fire , zangarmarsh , nagrand , netherstrom , shadow moon valley and all the wotlk classic zones. Pandaria all zones too.
I don’t tend to have a favourite, I still like to dart around between the various expansions. I think having seen it all before it’s quite stale on the umpteenth alt.
I like to go and do my garrison set up though.
All mop zones. Especially Jade forest. Jade forest is just the top. Every my 11 alt on Kazzak was leveled through it lol.
I usually go for Exile’s reach from 1-10, than LFD after level 10.
My favourite zone is Ashenvale.
Cheers.
Kalimdor zones. In particular Northern Barrens, Stonetalon Mountains, Ashenvale, Feralas, Tanaris.
My immediate response to this question is always MoP.
But in the last week or so, revisiting Kalimdor & Eastern Kingdoms to kill the anniversary dragons, so many memories have come flooding back about all the different zones and the happy, funny, dumb, disastrous things that happened in them way back. Since Cata, they’ll never be quite the same, but the memories are still there
None, I just wait in Orgrimmar and dungeon spam till 60.
