What is your favourite raid encounter? And least favourite?

There was a similar thread on the US, I thought it was quite fun.

My favourite fights are Spine of Deathwing, Eonar and Valithria Dreamwalker
My least favorites: The Jailer, Sha of Fear, and the boss in AhnQiraji that only takes frost damage.

I don’t raid but Blackhand. I was actually listening to his voice recordings at work today.

“You should’ve ducked!” has stayed with me all these years. It can be adapted to be excellent advice in almost any situation.

Least fav fight…Druid before fyrak. So far

Thematically:

Most Favourite are Jaina, Garrosh, Denathrius, Fyrrak, and Illidan

Least Favourite are Ansurek and Sarkareth

Mechanically I can’t say. I found most of the Bosses in TWW very intuitive except that one with the Spider Eggs

My favorites are Illidari Council, Mimiron, Ragnaros, Raszageth, Failed Experiments, Sarkareth, Thaurissan (I’ll miss the anniversary raid). Thematically I also like Nymue.

And while megadungeons aren’t raids, doing the whole thing on m0 can feel like one so I’m also mentioning Manifested Timeways and Morchie.

My least favorite one is Flame Leviathan.

I really loved Alysrazor and honestly much of Cataclysm because although the expansion as a whole was really clunky they tried so many new and different things that they scored many homeruns in my eyes.

With my love for Torghast came my love for the Tarragrue.

I hated sludgefist(imagine playing melee) , spine of deathwing, just putting the entirety of throne of thunder there, because creativity can also breed some of the least fun encounters ever. Eonar, but especially mythic. Sylvanas, but especially mythic. Sarkareth because it’s such a visual vomit that being able to see what is going on was actually harder than the fight itself.

Any tank and spank fight.

Anything that requires ‘dancing’ or silly/weird tactics. Hate that.

But hey, I’m not a raid enthusiast. :dracthyr_shrug:

Least favourites: Paragons (bugs out easily), Jailor fight sucks.
