What is Your Favourite Zone in Outland?

Do you have a favourite zone and if so what is it? Where do you look forward to levelling the most? Are there any you dislike?

My favourite zone is Nagrand. Even though Hemet will have us wiping out most of the wildlife. I just think it’s a beautiful zone. It’s just a pleasure to level there.

Nagrand is probably the best looking area, but there’s something about the ambience of Zargarmarsh that makes me lean toward preferring it (even though it does make you feel like you’re playing a Smurf :stuck_out_tongue: )
That been said, I think I’ll spend a lot more time in Netherstorm, Shadowmoon valley and Quel’Danas (did I get the name right? Memory’s a bit fuzzy) - I was mostly spamming BGs and flight form herbing for gold at 70 back then and I didn’t get to experience those zones as much as I should have.

Oooh I’d forgotten about Quel’Danas. I was on a PvP server back in the day and it was an ordeal to get your dailies done!

Nagrand has something soothing. Zangarmash is fascinatingly alien, and Terrokar has the forest-like feeling I like. So it’s a toss-up between all of them.

Blade Edge Mountains and Shadowmoon are definitely on the bottom, though.

I always found the pink domes blindingly bright when I travelled in and out of them. And this is coming from someone who loves pink

Nagrand is prettiest - but I like the Zangarmarsh quests better.

I really don’t enjoy blades edge mountain nor netherstorm.

Nagrand and Zangamarsh, love those places

Netherstorm
That wasteland of chaotic destruction with dome habitats of sprawling jungle.
Love it.
Stormspire is probably my favorite settlement in the game… Followed closely by Telredor.

I forgot to add, I probably dislike Blade Edge the most, it’s not very pretty and the terrain is so up and down.

I will never forget entering Hellfire Peninsula for the first time and thinking “meh, is that it?”, then walking to Zangarmarsh and being blown away, immediately following the path south to Terokkar and being BLOWN AWAY. So yeah, I hear most people like Nagrand, but for me it’s the green, untouched parts of Terokkar, it’s just… Tranquil and magical, but with hints of danger and ever present unease.
I am not very particular to HFP and Shadowmoon. The thoroughly corrupted zones are just unpleasant to me on an aesthetical level.

In TBC, I love the starting zone on Blood elves. Eversong Woods are one of the best starting zone. Also like Ghostlands.
As for Outlands - I love when you move from the old world to the new one. That feeling can’t be described. Like, in Azeroth you just learn to play the game and in Outlands the game really begins. So for me Hellfire Peninsula, then Nagrand, then Zangarmarsh are mine most favourite zones in Outland.

Same. I loved those. Even among all the new zones that came in later expansions, those two are just beautiful and among the best of all time… The questlines there are great as well.

I love the Belf starting zone, it’s probably my favourite but the Draenei one is good too.

Love all of them and there’s something about every zone that makes it unique.
That said there’s a special place in my heart for Hellfire Peninsula. Back when I was a new player in TBC I looked forward stepping foot in Outland where all the big boys were. Because I was new and a pala it took me 5+ months to level to 58, but the moment I finally went through the Dark Portal and looked over Hellfire for the first time my jaw dropped.
