I wasn’t really asking about the comp. Wanted to know what DPS numbers those players where pulling overall.
I often have meta comps in my PuGs (because people insist on meta and wait for those classes to apply) but I rarely see big blasters. Usually overall DPS are ranging from 1.1 to 1.6m and that’s usually the amount that’s about enough to time the key without any wipes.
If 1 wipe occurs it might still be timeable but it can’t carry a second wipe.
You need to understand that you were doing keys below your level of dps. It’s like a 3k player did a ten, naturally you can allow for a full wipe and still double chest it.
People that que for 13/14 pugs usually have just enough dps to time it, that’s the level where things gradually become rough and it separates just okeish players from really good ones.
Best guess is 95%+, but I only play with friends. If we decide to stop a key it’s usually because we made a group with too many undergeared alts or terrible comps, and realize the key is going to take forever to finish.
Depends on the people, if only i’m the one of the 5 there tries to time it then we’ll fail. I once had a cot m+10 and the healer was a noob he or she was clearly boosted without telling us and so the key was depleted as he or she left after we wiped there was his or her’s fault
Most of my keys are a mix of my guildies and 1 or 2 pugs, and unless the dungeon is bad for the comp (double hunter in stonevault) it will be completed.
I would say 95% of my keys are completed, with 85-90% of them timed.
I exclusively tank my keys because a bad DPS can be compensated for, while a bad tank is harder to cover. One guildy of mine often plays resto spec on his shaman so he knows my capabilities and my shortcomings so he knows how to reach to specific pulls I do.
