At what level can I solo cataclysm blackrock depths - upper city?
I just need the pyromancer for a Druid quest but LFG doesn’t cover him.
BRD is a Classic dungeon, so its mobs top out at 30-32.
I’m not sure of the exact level, but 40 or above should be safe enough. If you need a quick escort, just say: I’m sure someone can pop in to give you a hand!
Everything is now scaled to your level though. So if you enter as 48 then mobs will be 48?
Are we talking 60 but low gear or will 52-54 be enough?
No, it tops out. Classic Dungeon mobs scale to your level up to 30, but not beyond.
A 45 will completely destroy the whole dungeon in one pull. Maybe you could do it at 35.

No, they don’t. They scale all the way up to 50.
Only in Chromie Time I think.

Yes, but not even that in Chromie Time for Classic.
There isn’t a Classic Chromie Time. You can choose Cata Chromie Time to get Classic up to 30, and Cata from 10-50.
I have a 45 on his way there now. I’ll post a selfie in a couple of minutes!

Level 45 is God Mode in Classic.

Welcome back, Isdy!
I bought myself a time card thingy for 60 days. I did try to buy a subscription and Shadowlands a few weeks ago but the system did something and my card rejected Blizzard. So I gave up. I had another go tonight using the time card instead of the monthly sub and that worked. I’ll get SL next week and see if I can Pet Battle my way to cap… as I do.
I did read your post about the low level dungeons and having been there myself I was a little worried they may have plugged that hole. Seems OK. So I’ll be back in Azeroth with the silver tabby next week wandering about and causing no end of trouble… So if you see an ilevel 3 Level 50 battling pets in Blasted be sure to give us a wave.
Happy days… and no cheating jumping over the ledge in Black Rock.

When you ding level 50 all classic parts of the game is set to fixed levels.
