What mounts are still normal flying in the new Dragon flying era?

I did look around and I found a youtube, However its seem there ALL been converted to Dragonflying OR can’t fly. Its clear there changed thier minds recently.

Is there any mounts that are still normal flying if you have Dragon flying switch?

I preferer the old style.

You know that you can switch between normal old flying and skyriding right? it is on your mount tab…

Yes, but I want the best of both worlds without having switch.

I think any mounts that can’t use skyriding are now grounded when Skyriding is enabled. Your basically forced to switch to normal flying to use normal flying. There’s no best of both worlds anymore, without using the switch.

You even need to switch to normal to make your underwater mounts swim…

This is correct. If you try to use a non skyriding mount while in skyriding mode it will function as a ground mount.

its no big deal , i flew the whole of dragonfight on my dragons doing the races with 18 chars at the start and 42 now including new leveled chars and resurected char , i think what was done today is the best of both worlds easy for racers and people who like slow flight .

I used to think like you.

But then I realised that there are times when you don’t need to Dragonride to get from one place to another. Infact, a bit of Steady flying to move in a localised area is alot better than zooming around unnecessarily at 830% speed.

There is a time and place for both flying types. The 5 sec cast to switch is just another bad decision from Blizz.

My characters have yet to go to the Dragon Isles, and are canonically not dragonriders yet. Thanks for grounding them, Blizzard…

That’s so convoluted it’s not even funny…
They already had a decent system where you just needed to mount ‘regular’ mounts to get regular flying. Mounting has a cast time yes? Have that be the toggle and let us freely use mounts that aren’t dynamic as static flying or freaking swim…
