I really don’t care about music, including in real life. I don’t own earbuds for example. Music just isn’t something I’m interested in.
I’m not moved by it. It’s just well arranged noise and I can live without it.

I usually just have youtube on in the background and Angry Video Game nerd seasons playing in the background. I usually have stuff I don’t need to think about like comfort shows, friends, as an example

I find this pretty depressing.

I know a lot of hit modern music with no rhythm or talent and can drive you to despair, but everybody has tastes in music, even if you haven’t discovered it yet.

I’m not somebody who listens to chosen music every day, most of the time I don’t have time for it besides driving or playing WoW, but man there are few things more therapeutic in this world than cracking open some gin and just chilling with some good tunes for a couple hours.

You find this depressing because YOU enjoy music, because music has always been something that cheers you up and makes you happy. So, when you imagine yourself as me, you feel as if you lost something.
But I haven’t lost anything. I just don’t care about music. I’m still very happy in life, and I find enjoyment in other things.

I do have tastes in music. I prefer orchestral music, and I loathe rap and metal music for example.
But it doesn’t change the fact that I don’t care. I never purposely listen to music. I don’t actively try and listen to music.
If there’s music around - fine, I’ll listen to it. If there’s none, that’s fine too. For example, when in a car, I don’t have the reflex of turning the radio on.

Orchestral music, piano
… Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff etc. But often I’ll just listen to the ingame music, or a podcast etc

I found a new song earlier - Gebe Auf by Lune which I’ve had on repeat for a few hours (lol) usually I just listen to whatever Spotify shuffles up for me
