What new allied race would you like to see next?

As the title suggests, what would you like to see?

Personally I feel no one really liked the news of the Earthen. You could even hear the “really?” in the air when they showed it off live at BlizzCon.

Anywho, I’d finally love to see Murloc added!! I’d drop everything in a heartbeat

Strippers.

We already have them ingame, they’re called Gnomes!

On another side note, I’m sorry that you’ve been single for so long.

Tuskarr, Tortollan, Arakkoa… even I am huge dwarf fan still think they could do it better then another dwarf race for TWW. There’s a lot of races with great lore that could become playable and would bring back, or interested people then 3rd dwarf race.

Heck, I can bet that even if that they announced that they won’t introduce new race and they will rather focus on the expanding customizations, visuals and lore for the current ones, people would be way more happy and hyped.

This may not be a popular opinion, but I wouldn’t like to see any allied race really. New allied race usually means: development of story related to the race allying with us, development of racials, development of models (even existing models like void elves needed to have hairstyles, colours etc. developed).
Instead, I’d like Blizzard to: expand on the lore of existing allied races (some of that is seriously lacking), revisit and rebalance all existing racials, develop more customizations for existing races (especially those with more limited selection now).

Actually, this applies to many aspects of the game. I really believe wow (especially different systems) as it stands now needs polishing existing elements more than it needs development of new ones.

more dwarves, now we need aquatic ones

No more Elves or Dwarves at this stage.

Something different is always better IMO instead of the same races but variations. That’s no fun to me.

TBH there’s already enough of them so I’d prefer to reassign some of them.

A lot of allied races realistically have very little to do with loyalty to specific faction, didn’t really participate in Fourth War and was sort of neutral - and therefore has no true conflict with the opposites. Mechagnomes are only in Alliance because -gnomes, HM taurens are in Horde because taurens despite the entire neutral questline and faction reputations (Rustbolt/Highmountain). Golden space goats, drunk sailors, fiery alcoholic miners, zandalari are faction-binded respectively to OG blood-related races despite being either neutral or hostile to both factions for most of lore, which makes…let’s say, not so much sense. After all, both sides kicked Dark Irons and Zandalari for A LOT of addons.

Nightborne and Void Elves are both on their places ONLY because of one cheesy leader’s mess (Tyrande being rude just one time while saving entire NB population and Alleria being stupid just one single time) which makes little sense too.

Vulperas are in Horde only for CoNcEpTuaL reasons of “duh dusty nomads”. This could be the best “neutral” allied race after all.

So yeah, I just want some Horde races to be accessible to Alliance and vice versa. Be it after exalted grind or huge timegated questline or whatever - just give it to people that were asking for it for years at this point. This could be ez win for B.

Tortollan, and they better make sure those damn turtles are in the water when we do the starting zone there.

Dryad. I just think they have a lot of story potential given… points at the total devastation of the forest every two years
