Will there be a world overhaul? Will Azeroth be completely destroyed and WoW 2 gets revealed? Will we continue on as normal with the map getting evermore crowded with random islands? Or will we explore the other side of Azeroth that people seem to bring up here and there? Maybe that’s where the playable Ogres and High Elves have been hiding.
The most extreme I imagine Blizzard will attempt: Azeroth will be destroyed similar to Argus and Outland. But we will be able to adventure in it through Zidormi / Bronze Dragonflight, while the new adventures will be taking place in Neo-Azeroth.
But it’s more likely that some new technological marvels of the Titans will prevent Azeroth from its destruction, and at most it will reshape some of its surface/continents so that mayyyybe we get new landmasses that were previously underwater.
We will take refuge in new planet after azeroth gets unhabitable
All cities will be destroyed and some continents sink while others resurface, the lump of earth will still be there but the cosmic powers will no longer be interested in the planet and magic will be lost on Azeroth; all classes will be reduced to either:
- Barbarian (2handed melee)
- Ninja (dual wielding melee)
- Ranger (ranged with 1 bow/gun/crossbow)
- or Gunslinger (ranged dualwielding pistols)
All old factions will fall apart and we need to forge new alliances to survive and secure non-magical ressources; on a gameplay level it will be possible to team up with everyone without limitations - be it players or NPCs.
