What paladin spec are you guys going to main in shadowlands?

Can’t decide between prot and ret so I’m curious to see what everyone else is choosing

Holy with protection and ret as off specs in that order. Kiran is going to be my covernant so I will be useing divine toll. Probably pelagos as my holy soulbind but I’m still a bit undecided there

I’m still trying to decide what class to main, but if it were Paladin it’d have to be Ret. Nothing puts a smile on my face like watching those big numbers pop up on my screen when wings comes out.

I would play ret if damages are in line with other specs, which I feel like Blizzard can’t do after BFA. Not mentioning the fact that some talents need more iterations.

Been prot since vanilla, I’m sure I will still be prot by the time classic rolls around to its SL version

I’m going Protection with Holy as my primary offspec, I’ve never really liked the damage dealing role for long, I played Mage in Classic but since than its been tank played Warrior for TBC/Wrath and rolled Protection Paladin for Cataclysm and have been a Pala since. I did play two tiers as Holy due to my guild lacking healers once other than that its tank that has been the thing for me.

Was thinking of going as prot, Even thou I havent tanked a day Ive played as a prot when doing ole content and current world content Its just that Avengers shield and going sword and board is fun, and The fact that Id be a tough mf

Of all my alts in BfA, I enjoyed my paladin the most. Considering how versatile they are (they have a tank, heal, and DPS spec and all of them are good to great), how much utility they have, and how nice their transmogs look, I think I’m going to main a paladin in Shadowlands.

What spec? Protection primarily for M+, and I’ll pick the off-spec depending on raid needs. I enjoyed Holy and Retribution in BfA.

I’m one of those mad people that’ll give it a try with Shockadin. Still viable on beta, so maybe able to handle myself on live.
