just did all q today to unlock everything on main and do dailys in all zones and upgrade cloak.
What parts can I skip (If any) if im gonna do the same on alts?
You can skip “The Halls of Origination” quest, just talk to Magni again after picking up the quest!
Intro scenarios aka some of the instanced parts can be skipped. You just have to sometimes talk twice to NPcs. to get the ‘I heard it before’ line.
You cannot skip parts that give you direct rewards… kind of. For example Nalak.ddevice you can skip so that you never leave Radens feet.
I am currently doing my 2nd round and outside invasions, I have had much shorter ride. Also all invasion ‘blue’ (daily) quests are optional.
You cannot skip the introduction to visions. But its very short and fun part anyway. 
When I did it on my alt the only place i noticed i got to skip anyhing was in pandaria. I got an option to skip 1 scenario. Everything else is non-skippable.
You can skip all reboot the engine scenarios, except last - introduction to visions, and the cloak ones.
So you can skip 1st Halls too.

All the scenarios are skippable, but the useful bits like the assaults and visions aren’t (which is okay’ish because you’d do them anyway)
does the skipping work cross faction? lets say i did horde and want to do alliance char next.
