Greetings, i’m looking for professions to make gold but i don’t want to sink my time into crafting/alt army anymore, most of the time i raid/dungeon/bg/arena content. Hope some people can point me in the right direction

Gathering professions, herbalism/mining, i guess.
Frankly, you answered your own question with “I don’t want to sink my time into crafting”, gathering levels (relatively) easily, focus on the “More resources per vein/herb”-bits of profession knowledge, refining stuff to higher quality doesn’t really pay off in gold (So leave “Metallurgy” in mining for last), that’s more for crafters (Who need highest possible quality materials for crafting), you’ll get plenty of 3-star materials straight from gathering, once your profession level is high enough.
Would having all my characters with Herb/Mining be a good idea or just the one and have a warrior with blacksmith/alchemy to use what i farm to produce more gold? like smelting etc
As an engineer for over a decade I’d like to say this(for profit or not): avoid engineering at all costs. Pretty much what the rest said, herb/mining, alchemy prices are dropping rapidly at the moment that its simply not worth the hassle if you’re doing it for an income.
Making money throu crafting proffesions now is not real matter of supply , its matter of skill+advertisment
That starategy might forks fore craftink consumambles but unless yuo got tons of inspiration and multicraft you will be operetink on lost or just get even if yuo lucky
BS and JC so u can craft all ur needed gear ur self then u have a alt with mining brights u the matrials
if ur a hunter like me all u need is LW and skinning 
currently i’ve been trying out mining/herb like everyone said whilst waiting for arena/bgs/raids which has made me some gold. i don’t want to play like i use to so i’ve been deleting characters, i had one of every class but i’ve gotten rid of the monk/mage/rogue and tried the drakthy but that is just a rip off from the rest of the class with a lizard skin so he went pretty quickly xD problem is when i play the rest of my classes i don’t make gold so i was thinking of turning them all into mining/herb with the possibility of one of them smelting or even making a character just for smelting but i don’t know if i should just give up on that idea and just keep mining/herb.
u need like to skin 400.000 skins ea month just get the gold for a wow token for monly sub
