what professions are you using on your warrior/main character?
On my warrior i use alchemy/herb-flasks, potions and gold.
As for aesthetics again i prefer alchemy/herbalism. Using your knowledge of the herbs around you to heal, survive or gain some advantage against your enemies, feels like very warrior-thing to me instead of hammering steel.
Kinda like Geralt from Witcher series.
But thats just me. If you already have these professions go for something else doesn’t matter much these days.

BS/Engi here but mostly because I’ve still got alot of vanilla/tbc plans and blueprints I don’t want to lose.
If I could have a third prof I’d definitely pick a gathering one for money.
Engi is pretty good though and will most likely always stay useful.
My advice to you, you can get everything you want on your warrior accept skinning, Inscription,Leatherworking, Tailoring.
My suggestion to you
If you want have two professions ( crafting ) on you warriors go for Engineering and Blacksmithing ( easy gear up ), Enchanting and Jewelcrafting ( if you want to get specific abilities on your warrior ). My combination is Jewelcrafting and engineering because i can get high lvl gear and some fun gear on engineering, and on jewelcrafting i can save money from crafting gems and get high lvl ring ( it was hard for me to get high lvl ring that’s why i got the jewelcrafting ). another thing if you get the engineering you can craft a tool in order to get more loot from robots in Mechagon.
If you going for one gathering and crafting go for mining and engineering. In case, if you have other characters ,so you can get some aid from them. Otherwise, you have to go for Herbalism and Alchemy ( you can save a lot of money)

gathering herb is a bit pain in the butt so i would go Herb/Alch
With skygolem and soon flying its actually easy.
Engineering is a must. You cant chill in wpvp without nitros boots or the goblin glider. It just a peace of mind.
Enchanting for gold.
is it really that needed?
Yes , you feel it when you leap then use your boots to run from some group that wants to gank you.
my tip, use leap then nitro boots then bladestorm and fly away as fast as possible.

it is good on tank space when you have leap and dragon charge ( you gone with nitro boost )

Just pick whatever You want. You can get golds from any of them.
Personaly I have Min/Bs, oblivious reasons…But I also make alot golds by selling in AH.
