Hello there! I can’t wait to hop on World of Warcraft: Classic on 27th August. But I have never had an active subscription in any expansion, and so now I don’t even know, what expansion do I have to buy? Any advice?
All I need is a minimum requirement to be allowed to play on Classic Realms

Once launched, access to WoW Classic is available to all players with an active World of Warcraft account. This means you just need to have gametime active on an account, to be able and play Classic as well.

So, i just have to buy game time with existing (Free-to-Play) account and voila, im in? Buying it before character name reservations then

They have also just changed the launcher so that for every active account you have you can log into either BfA (or legion if you don’t have BfA) or Classic.
I’m not 100% sure about that but it seems logical as to how it will work.
