What specc for Warlock leveling in outland?

Edit.

My warlock is now 67.

Affli is far far better than Demmo in every way possible.

I think between level 59 and 64 i maybe used 10 water and 10 food.

It’s incredibly self-sufficiant.

I tried going demology to try it after a few levels of affli at lvl 61, Hated it and switched back to affli within 20 min as demo questing.

End of edit.

Hey

I came back for the XP increase event and just got my warlock from 57 to 59 and was wondering which spec you guys recommend throughout outland.

Affli, demo, Destro?

Well I go mine to 60 ‘legit’ started as affliction bit changed to destro recently. To be honest all specs are ‘Peasy’ - mobs offer little resistance……and that goes for any class.

Demo, unless you only do dungeons, then you want destro at least till improved rain of fire. Demo is good enough for ‘quest runs’ though. Just consider you’ll spend soooo much time funneling/draining back and forth.

Felguard still beats any thing that destro or affli can dish out? in terms of ease of questing?

If you want to quest, you take a felguard. Pure damage wise you’d take destro, but obviously you want to be able to cast and live when fighting more than 1 mob. Life tap and mana feed really made life easier, life drain will be your main attack next to wanding.

Don’t go demo. Go affliction and some point in demo for sac pet. Don’t worry about UA.

With the right spec you can kill like 5/6 mobs at a time and you never have to sit down to regen.

How so?

Can you explain how that works or where to put all points?

Just afli till lvl 70.
Demo was more oriented on world pvp if you are ganked during questing. But since like world pvp is dead - just affli

Do you use Curse of agony, Siphon life, Unstable while leveling ?

Or is it still just Immolate, Corruptions, Drain life as rotation as affli as well?

Or maybe you don’t even go deep affli?

The other guy said something about demomic sacrifice.

I don’t remember names of abilities. Just put 4 dots in macro button, put 4 dots on 3 or 4 targets, then wand spam.

From a first glance afliction is indeed best, demo also works.

Also consider we may well be in prepatch in 2 weeks time, depending on your leveling speed you may have to readjust to completely new meta.

You can sarcrifice your voidwalker or felhunter to extra regeneration of health and mana. I never been able to get 5/6 mobs, as affli while leveling, usually they are too far apart, howl of terror sends them off where they then evade and reset, or they pull more mobs you didn’t intend. You are still squishy and I more often than not see the locks dying at the end of the line.

When you’re 70 and got gear, it’s easy, but yeah then you’re not really leveling anymore.

How can you macro… dots?

They have Global cooldown, Can’t insta put all on the target.

You macro the casting order, so the button changes to the next spell after being cast.

A bit too “High tech” for me.

In all years of WoW i’ve only every done macros for instant casts & OFF-GCD, Mouse over or Misdirect to pets.

How would i do a sequence order?

/castsequence [ability name 1], [ability name 2], [ability name 3], etc, etc.

example: [ability name 1] = Lifebloom

Now each time you press the macro, it will use the next ability. A literal monkey can do it.

Ok, thanks

Oh, I didn’t mean to insult you or anything. Just saying it’s really easy to make!

Every thing is easy to make as long as you know how.

Thanks for telling me.

I’ve always just done

/cast ability
/cast ability

But that does not work unless they are all instant and without GCD

4 main dots for leveling are instant, what is the problem?
Only once I had to alter combo and add slowering curse on Shadra (lvl 55 elite spider :spider: in hinterlands) cause she obliterated pets.
