In arena 3's I'd argue you also need strong haste unless you can stack mastery and crit if you play with a holy paladin to let you get casts off.
However I sill think haste above all would be best since you need the shards for the huge infernal burst. What you do is throw down 2 or 3 RoF's and then you can pop off chaos bolts dealing over 60k, combine with crit talent and trinks you may be able to reach 80k.
EDIT: Then again admittedly I only do random BGs and haste is my best friend in there.
29/10/2018 17:13Posted by GraveyardI don't do arenas but haste > mastery is the way to go.
And intellect after those 2?
I am not sure why Intellect is there. Items have Intellect anyway. If you are talking about Trinkets; same order above.
I guess I have been misinformed, because I have always tried to stack haste/crit.
(My current gear does not reflect this)

It does yes but so does mastery and it also buffs other spells. Also remember crit effects are only 50% in pvp instead of 100% dmg inc.
crit >>>> mastery >> haste > intellect

DONT DO THIS. . it isn't as large a increase as mastery overall and more importantly, mastery gives you defence in the form of damage reduction .
personal choice after playing with destro for a while is
Int>Mastery>Crit>haste for arena as its a game of "big bolt big win" rather than dps racing to finish games.
for RBG or more casual pvp id use Int>haste>mastery>crit
this will give you largest overall damage but it loses some pow in chaos bolts because haste dont improve your bolt damage .
There is some kind of haste threshold, though. Eventually, with enough haste intellect and mastery manage to gain value.
It all depends on your individual stat weights that depend on what gear you have equipped at the time.

Crit increases damage of you CB and resource generation more then haste, mastery or any other stat.
In PvP, you’ll want to go for Mastery and then Haste. As with 3 flashpoint traits, haste becomes obsolete as you’ll sit around 40-45 % haste with flashpoint up.
The mastery trait allows you to get those big numbers that allows you to 2 shot most classes in arena with infernal up.
Ok. With 2 flashpoint traits or less it seems like int>haste>mastery
and with 3 flashpoint goin mastery>vers seems good for pvp
I remember reading that crit is nerfed in pvp, the modifier that is. so the difference between crit and vers is a bit smaller pvp wise-but you get dmg reduction from vers. Survivability is something Id go as far as to say warlocks need. This is just observations ive collected from videos and peaking at the top ranked warlocks per spec to try figure out
just my 2 cents, dont take my word as something set in stone, but do take it into consideration
