I have a very undergeared warlock. I have no guild, and only 3-4 hour/week to play. So it is impossible for me to close the gap and enjoy endgame in this expansion be it pvp or pve.
The question is, as a warlock, what should I do. On my hunter I can tame beasts for the stable, farm old content for transmog with an incredibly quick and mobile BM build.
What can I do as a lock? I’m a snail. If I want the t4-t6 from old raids I have to crawl the whole time with no aoe, no instants, no mobility. I can not do pve content because my gear is nonexistant. In PvP someone blink and I’m dead. Most thing I can do is questing, but that would be useless soon,the reputation would be useless, quest reward useless, zone completition useless.
What can a new lock do, in this late of an expansion?
if you’re farming old raids, your best bet is going demo for aoe. hand of gul’dan is a pretty fast cast, you also have felstorm from the pet and implosion.
speccing into burning rush instead of demon skin will help a lot too. drain life bosses for a lay of hands effect.
100% this. I’ve been farming legacy raids with burning rush. Even though it drains quite a lot of health, one life suck from a mob and you’re full health instantly, so you can essentially have permanent 50% movement speed.
Felguard will do his spinny attack when it’s off cd which takes out large packs of mobs also. You can use power siphon to gain demonic core for some quick demon bolts for some fast casting when you need it.
Oh, and if you’re still interested in gearing up at that ilvl and have some prismatic pearls lying around on other characters, you can send your warlock a full set of benthic gear, and even upgrade it to 400 which isn’t too expensive.
