I am thinking about coming back to retail, dragon flight changes have peaked my interest, but I am wondering if there is any point in coming back pre-dragon flight.
I know that the pre-patch lands in a few days so I might jump in to try out new stuff, I stopped playing earlier on in shadowlands and pay a sub for classic so may as well. But if I already have multiple max level characters, know what I will main and have a max level for that already, outside of a quick look in pre-patch I am not sure if should bother.
Also, do servers matter? I can see my server is medium population, I remember at the end of BfA my server seemed pretty dead, Alliance cities where empty. Is there a different server I should play on as Alliance?
At the end of an expansion every game in history is pretty almost dead. People are waiting for the new one to resub.
I remember my old guild at the start of Shadowlands, we had so much players there was no room for everyone so I started complaining to rotate people but, since it was a new raid they didn’t want to rotate the roster as they wanted to go only with the usual team. After I started complaining couple of times about this behaviour to an officer in whispers, they decided to kick me from the guild. What followed was an outrage that ended in that guild making a roster rotation sometimes sacrifices must be made to get justice
The new talents system is being released, with next update. The more people on server the more alive it looks. Transfer to silvermoon or tarren mill ( high populated ). Its a good time to check everything and and see what you like before second pre-patch release.
It was… we just didn’t realised because 10% of 12M users was still a huge number and people were everywhere. But the cycle of any game is always declining towards the end.
