I think it’s worth knowing a few things, such as Death Knights and Demon Hunters will start from level 8 in SL, the equivalent to level 20. So it’s better to make ones now.

Why is it better to make one now?
it will start at a higher level once the level adjustments come into play.
if u create a DH now, it’ll scale down from 100 which is 20 levels off max, so u’d be scaled to level 40.
if u roll one after SL Release, it’ll start atr level 8.

Too much effort, meh.
Currently working on flying (should be done today) going to try get heroic nyalotha and 15 dungeon done. Also aiming for mecha-done and debating if i want to do 3 months of dailys for nazjatar achievement.
Also leveling a few alts to 120 shadowlands ready. Namly Priest, warrior, druid and maybe shaman
But… What if you don’t play to ‘be max lvl the fastest way possible’?
What if you just want to have fun leveling up. Focussing on a single expansion, possibly your favorite one, and replaying that to lvl 50.
That’s currently impossible with a DH. In Shadowlands, it will be possible.

I’m starting making some more liquid golds for the new expansion, and i’ll stockpile things that could be useful if they don’t nerf it before the SL release.
Yesterday i finished with the Alliance BfA Allied Races (i still miss Mechagnome but in a week i should be done with them) and i will not take part of raiding until SL so yeah: goldmaking
Oh yes, and leveling a bunch of more ARs on the alliance side, just for their heritage armor and…for more golds i believe

Regarding Demon Hunters, as the starting level will be reduced down to level 8 (equivalent of a level 20) Blizzard also considers removing the restriction of having only one Demon Hunter per server.
I really don’t see how it’s theoretically possible to get enough gold for the brutosaur mount at this point if you’re jut starting to save for it.
It’s possible. There are websites like reddit and discord servers with people who will help you to find right market. You would just need to install tools, learn to use them and spent essentially 90% of your time in AH. I can’t afford such time.
Or if you rich, you could buy like 20 WoW Tokens and sort it out easily
