Yes, BFA and Shadowlands are the most logical choices in terms of collectibles and endgame stuff to do. Both had good activities that can break the monotonity of raids and dungeons.
I feel like Dragonflight and TWW would be too soon.
The other expansions have really little to offer in terms of everything.
After two remixes, I’m honestly fed up of the idea. I’d rather they add a permanent system to retail that makes getting older collectibles/mogs/mounts easier.
But failing that, I REALLY want them to stop adding Remix achievements for every class. Just stop it.
Whatever the next remix is, I hope it’s less grindy and more fun. Legion remix really missed the mark on whatever it was that made MoP remix fun. Maybe it’s the gearing/IP systems, maybe it’s the lack of gems and cogwheels, maybe it’s the phase rollouts, probably a combination of all, it’s just less fun overall, was fun for a couple of days, then turned into a daily grind.
I’d be willing to play any of the expansions in a remix setup. I mean yeah… I skipped MoP remix, never even tried but if there’s a second wind, count me in.
At this point just skip remix forward and focus on the main game.
Mop remix was fun, legion remix is straight up trash. I’d rather see them made some proper 21st anniversary than making a worse version of legion that spits on legions legacy.
Agree, I feel like I had enough of Remix content and can live a happy WoW life without any additional Remix in the future.
The system you mention is there, all they need to do is to implement Collector’s Bounty legacy loot rules on the specific expansion that has Timewalking event up for that given Timewalking week.
I am not against it, as because of that Collector event people have reduced their legacy farming a lot outside of it, myself included. I will never waste more time farming collectibles again without Remix or Collector’s Bounty buff.
I have gone through TBC so many times that i don’t even want to visit that place anymore let alone do remix of it. I would rather go through SL dozen times over even visiting TBC.
They probably will do another remix as this one will have been deemed successful. It has fulfilled its goal of player retention.
If they do another remix I hope it has some significant tweaks
be alt friendly
remove the concept of infinite knowledge and power. It work d well in MoP remix, but making the upgrades clear ranks with a cal created an inevitable grind
don’t try and funnel the player base into m+
That aside I always thought a classic remix would be great fun. There is just so much world to throw the players into and so many dungeons as well. Given they’ve experiment with heroic world tier an iteration of that could really bring the focus into the game world rather than say m+.
If they ever do a TBC remix I may finally get my Ashes of Al’ar.
