I loved the new affliction playstyle,
however it’s really hard to maintain shadow embrace on multiple targets especially if you’re playing siphon life ,
there are also some talents that aren’t being picked when they probably should,
during the beta, nightfall was changed to have a better chance to proc if you have multiple corruptions rolling on many targets so that way i can understand that maybe blizz wanted us to use nightfall instead of drain soul in m+
but malefic rapture’s damage makes it so the soul shard from drain soul grants more damage which is maybe why it’s nerfed ( which many people say that the nerf is a little bit exessive ) ,
I think maybe it’s a good move to make the shadowbolt procs from nightfall aoe , that way we don’t have a dead talent nor a dead passive ability that we don’t use in mythic plus .
However it reminds me of lord kazzak and i doubt any warlock will disagree with the fact that this is simply awesome
hmm a passive insta shadowbolt aoe would be cool. like druids starfall
everytime nightfall would proc a bunch of shadow bolts would come out like mobs do “shadow volley”
Probably you’re not supposed to maintain it on multiple targets.
well that’s because there was no way to actually do that , during the beta soul rot allowed to aoe drain soul tho
also we’re getting nerfed and this nerf will hurt us a lot in m+ , so this can help us a little bit
What if Blizzard reduce cast of SoC+travel time and increase blast radius with 2-3 yards+damage with 5%?And maybe without talent 2 Seeds instead of 1 with talent 4?And for SE they can increase duration with 2-3 sec. For MR i preffer fixed damage based on our intellect and increase damage on our dots+duration.
I’ve seen talks about this in the community, some streamers threw some ideas out there to make it easier to maintain SE on two targets, but imo if you want 2 target cleave just play destruction.
Get rid of it. We almost have more debuffs to juggle than what is mathematically possible to keep up. Unstable is a single target DoT. Make it part of that.
