A few hours to go! (Early access)
and I am completely torn between keeping this DH as Main (Which is my main since Legion) or for the first time in a long time switch (to Death Knight.)
what do you guys think and why ?
also what will be you main?
thanks!!
Dk is currently really strong as you probably know and i imagine will be giga nerfed before season starts.

I am not really attached to numbers, but the class fantasy Dk’s have at the moment is really appealing!

Fantasy wise DKs hero talents are head and shoulders above everyone else. All 3 specs feel nice to play and are quite fluid.
When I finally discarded mage as my main in Legion, I was torn between DH and DK too. I ended up choosing the DK because it was older with a lot more time invested. I found both classes to be equally fun, so the time investment was the deciding factor. So I’d suggest you go with whichever you think is more fun to play overall.
As for me I’ll be sticking with evoker. A class has to be pretty trashed for me to change main and they haven’t messed up evoker.

EVEN IF THIS CLASS IS THE SWORN ENEMY OF THE DEVS AND BLIZZARD.
EVEN IF ITS GET NERFED TO THE GROUND WITH EACH UPDATE ,
AND EVEN WHEN THEY BUFF ITS SELF HEALING THEY DONT REDUCE THE MANA USAGE OF SELF HEALING SPELLS TO SOMEHOW STOP YOU FROM BEING GOOD ENOUGH IN 1V1

Both.
I’m also going to level up a few different chars in the coming weeks. Still not 100% sure if I want to main a priest or a monk. In raids I’d prefer healing as priest, but in M+ I’d prefer a class with which I can tank so I can get can into PuGs quickly.

My standard answer: Whichever you enjoy the most.
BM hunter.
As to which one… I’m leaning towards my human at the moment.
But if I like the expansion and content enough, this might actually be the first expansion where I’ll maintain 1, 2 maybe even 3 alts (all BM hunter as well, of course since there’s only one God Tier class-spec combo).

That’s the point ^^
I enjoy both, but I’ll hardly have the time to play both (Family is getting bigger next month!)

you know i never played healer, but i just say one thing.,
the mana cost of word of glory is 25k for both ret and prot, when the healing done by prot is 500k sometimes with one cast and ret 200k.
imagine they didnt think that ret cant heal like a tank and need to use this spell so many more times in pvp and pve
so they said its ok 25k for both
instead of saying something like this.
25k for prot (because of higher healing and less usage and 15k or 10k for ret)
I’ll main a DK in S1. Went back and forth between the shaman, the DK and the hunter, and finally settled on the DK (frost and blood).
I expect Frost’s numbers to get turned down, but after the rework the spec plays really well and isn’t frustrating to play (well, it does depend a bit on how the tank pulls in M+). The gameplay should stay the same. Blood is squishier than before, noticeably so, but it’s still a tank spec I enjoy.
I’d have stuck with shaman, but I don’t enjoy elemental as much as I should, enhancement is way too bloated, and I can’t only heal (no healer slots in my new raid group and too many healers among my friends). BM hunter is swamp tier in the beta, though I think that gets fixed soon - but I don’t really want to play something without a support spec.
Ohhhh exciting. Gratz!
One doesn’t have an edge over another?
If not I would say: DK.
Why? I like the fantasy of them better and that horsemen talent stuff looks cool as hell.
I’d love a talent with those mechanics for BM where I ride a wild beast and summon forth a bunch of other beasts to fight with me.
DK and DH are too difficult for me to choose between, what does your heart tell you?
I will main Guardian Druid and level my Prot Paladin second. I usually level all the tanks then only play Druid and maybe some Pally.
Thanks!!
Right? What made me consider changing in first place was that whole Horseman stuff, it looks really cool!
I got the epic Edition a long time ago but I never got around to try the Beta, but I’ve seen plenty of videos in it and it looks really awesome.

I’m leaning towards DK but looking for excuses to keep DH
I opened this thread to get unbiased opinions.
Because I know it I’m left on my own I’ll go DH, and that might be solely because it’s the class I’m comfortable with

For DK you only need to get a weapon once which is nice. It has battle res, which I find very useful to have as tank in m+ pugs.
I haven’t played either in group content though. Both classes are always ones I say I’ll get round to playing, then don’t.
I have been in constant pain the last month trying to figure out what to main for TWW, but I can’t make up my mind. There are a couple points which I consider essential but none of the classes fit them all, and if I choose whatever is closer to my “perfection” then I’ll have the “grass is greener on the other side” symptom anytime I group up with people.
1- I wanna be able to roleplay and relate to my character, so it has to be human or maybe Kul Tiran (RIP DH and Evoker).
2- It has to use melee weapons (RIP all casters and Monk).
3- Transmog must be visible (RIP Druid).
4- It has to be good in solo play (RIP Shaman).
5- It must have a dark/evil thematic or at least be neutral, no UWU flower power of the light (RIP Paladin).
6- Must have a fluent gameplay and rotation (RIP clunkyfest DK).
Conclusion: None of the classes fit all of this so I quit the game.
